Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe rooms do not all have external windows/ventilation so the bathrooms and some of the rooms did have some mildew/mould growing and a bit of a damp smell. But this is the issue with alot of the rooms in the area due to how they hotels are built.
Great location, innner facing room so not as loud as other places. Good option for one/two nights before/after Machu Picchu.

United StatesI was the only one there and it was a bit scary at times. I was literally the only guest there. They gave me the key to the front door of the hotel as well as my room, so I had two separate keys. 😂🤣 I also couldn’t understand why they didn’t have more guests because the place was absolutely gorgeous.
Very clean and well kept. The location is as great too. I absolutely loved the hosts-husband and wife. They are such sweet people. The breakfast was good, too.

BrazilI had to ask to change a sheet (it was washed, but not well washed), the room and restrooms are small, the restrooms has high window to the aisle, the bedroom window wasn’t good as it is on the backside of a restaurant.
The location was good, the smart TV that I could connect my YouTube account, the hair dryer and water heating for tea. Good breakfast.

It’s a decent hotel with a comfortable bed, great location, and excellent staff. The room had a large TV. The only downside was that the bathrobe in the room was damp. Everything else was great.

PeruWhen I first arrive I notice the room was very dusty and dark and not acceptable for anyone, especially my daughter who suffer with asthma. He front desk guy advised they were no more rooms available. I returned to my room to advised my partner and came back to a whole set of mold behind the bedside table and when I notified the first desk guy, he suddenly found a room for me. Very upsetting.
The location was good but the hotel was dirty. Especially the rooms located on the 1st floor. Those need remodel, very dusty and dark. There was also lots of mold.
