My room was moldy and I often found the bathrooms very dirty.

I loved the hostel; the staff were energetic and very helpful. It's well located, with restaurants and pharmacies nearby. I would stay there again.

Very cool hotel, the room was clean, there was also tea and coca leaves, delicious breakfast, and the staff was absolutely amazing.

The shower water was warm and the towels didn't seem very clean. Besides, if you look for sleeping before 00:00h, it will be impossible if you stay on second or third floor, because of loud sound in the top. At this hostel, silence time is 00:00h!

The hostel is next to the Plaza Mayor.

-Not the fault of the hotel: A train passes by every day and its horn is very loud. However i fixed it with a pair of ear plugs

-They can store bags and things for you during your trips (e.g. camino inca, etc) -The last floor has a cool common area with free hot drinks and friendly staff including a very cute chubby dog i loved. Also they have karaoke, pool and mini football. -Common bathrooms stay clean and theres toilet paper. Showers have hot water, no complain. -Staff is always friendly

All rooms look down on main reception which can be loud late at night and early in the mornings at 3/4am when people are heading out for tours. Expect restless sleep. Nowhere to hang towels to dry in rooms.

The place had a comfortable common space on the terrace. The owner Ruth was a hospitable and helpful host. The staff were helpful and friendly. The artwork was fabulous.

Amazing hostel with great staff and atmosphere. Clean, close to the main square about 5-10 minutes walk. Hot water all the time, really kind and thoughtful staff !

We arrived at 5am and they had given our room to someone else. We found out after the staff member finally let us into our room, only to find a man already sleeping in it. The staff member took 1 hour to get us into a room (not the same that we had booked) and we could tell it wasn’t clean because there was hair and crumbs on the bed and my pillow had a bit of blood on it. It wasn’t the best way to start my birthday. However, in the morning the manager came to apologise to us and explain that the staff member was new and that they would not charge us for that night. Getting up to the 4th level when you haven’t acclimatised to the altitude can be pretty tricky!

Great vibe, lovely staff. This was one of our favourite hostels around the world because they provide breakfast in upstairs area and it’s a good opportunity to talk to people. The art around the hostel is stunning and each day we saw the artists at work with the wonderful murals. The place was always clean and the reception was always staffed. On my birthday they were so kind as to give me a gift and a free drink. I was quite blown away by their kindness. Breakfast was eggs (Scrambled or fried), bread, jam/butter, and hot drinks and sometimes a fruit and juice. We ended up staying about 7 nights here because it was so comfortable. I loved that they had self serve coca tea all day. It really helped us to acclimatise. The bathrooms were really clean and there was never a line. We honestly found all the staff so warm and welcoming.

Really quiet and comfy place to stay! For the price per night ,we extended our stay couple times… Room was comfortable! Great hot showers! You won’t see or meet many people and it’s not a party hostal… We definitely enjoyed our stay, We even left one day early and they prepared us breakfast to go in a bag!wich we really appreciated!!! Definitely recommend for a quieter hostel style!

The negative point is the noise of ppl slamming the doors during night, a better noise insulation would be great and noise reduction for doors.

Overall we had a great stay, the staff were really kind with us. It's been renovated so everything is new, and super comfy.

We had no idea that they did room clean. We got surprised when we came back and somebody had clean our private room. Nothing major happend we were just surprised. Maybe a little heads up when we check in would of been nice. But i have nothing bad to say about this hostel!

Great hostel! Well located, confortable and with a nice ambiance. Dorms are spacious and the beds super confortable. Bathrooms are clean. The best place where I've been during my six month trip in South América with à great rate and breakfast included. I love it.

It would be good if there was a kitchen for backpackers to use.

The rooms were always clean, great location. It was perfect for a spot over new years. We came back after visiting the jungle and Machu Picchu too. Staff are friendly and attentive. They will store your bag whilst you do tours.

The rooms are a bit humid, but it is kind of usual in Peru.

We had a wonderful stay at Magic Packers hostel. They were flexible with the check-in and check-out time, as we arrived early in the morning and left late afternoon. The property is clean and nice, we had to skip breakfast but tried once and it was enjoyable. The staff is extremely kind and they helped us book some day trips around Cusco.

Nice facilities, free coffee and tea, good deals if you book with them directly for more than 3 nights, and they're building a rooftop bar area that should be open within a couple weeks. Definitely worth the price, and a great option in Cusco near San Pedro market!
