How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing, everything was perfect.
Everything was very good. The position is close to the center of Miraflores but also not too close to the movida part so quite quiet at night. The room was clean and exactly as in the photo. The breakfast was also good. But the main reason I would recommend this place is the staff, very welcoming and always willing to give some suggestions.

I was arriving early and they were verh flexibel in this. The person before me in the room left early and they made sure that I could check in early aswell. Next to this it’s a quiet location and you can walk to the Mireflores centre in 10 to 15 minutes. All in all great.

The stairs going to your room can be noisy at night when others are coming and going. I had earplugs, so this didn't bother me. I just thought it might be helpful for future travelers.
Great location, the staff are very helpful and will give you a map and advice on how to get around. Breakfast was delicious and the bed was comfortable. They also left out a takeaway breakfast for me as I had to leave for the airport at a silly hour in the morning.

The windows were super thin and we could hear a lot of noise coming from a nearby bar.
The staff was really friendly and gave us loads of tips about Lima. The room was good and clean. It's in a great location, close to the seafront.

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable room. Excellent location, with lots of amenities near by. Hosts were very welcoming, and prepared a lovely omelet for breakfast each morning. Would recommend!

Donald accommodated our last minute changes (thanks to LATAM) to the reservation well and without complaint. Great communication. Breakfast was superb. Relatively quiet neighborhood, nicely located in Miraflores.

Cozy bed & breakfast in a quiet side street in Miraflores. Area is mainly residential and very safe but in only 12-15 minutes walk you're in busy Park Kennedy. Staff was very polite and accomodating, breakfast was great and the room was clean. This is an old fashioned but comfortable accomodation that felt like home.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful time there. The breakfast was great, the location were perfect and the room was very comfortable. I would always book it again. :)

We had a small issue finding the correct entrance to the apartment - recommending checking the picture from the listing, as we didn't. Also, the water pressure was occasionally low, but we understand that's quite common in Peru.
We had a lovely stay here! The host was very responsive, the sweet ladies served a tasty breakfast, and the room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Location is great. We’d definitely come back! :)

A beautiful small B&B hotel. Lovely staff and filling breakfast. Fruit and juice, choice of eggs, and fresh bread and jam, with endless coffee. I ended up here as I had been let down by another 'hotel', but I wasn't disappointed!

Even thought it was just 15 min from main square, the walk sometimes got long. But nothing to do with the property itself.
It was clean and nice, we had 2 beds and a private shower. Shower had good water pressure and had hot water. It was 15 min from main Kenedy park, so because it was little further- it was really quite place to stay. Breakfast was simple but good.

I didn't expect much because I just needed a place to stay before my flight. But I would definitely stay there longer if I needed to. Very welcome staff, easy communication. Room was clean and pretty comfortable with perfect temperature inside although there is no AC or fan.
