The location is perfect. Right off the square. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a triple and the matrimonial suite, which were very comfortable and large rooms this hotel is very quaint and the breakfast had fresh fruit, bread and with the option of fresh cooked eggs or an omelette. They kept our luggage while we were on our trek, we stayed there before and after.

Pedestal sink (not enough space to store toiletries next to the sink) — plenty of room elsewhere in the bathroom, though. Wish there was a hook closer to the shower for hanging the towel and more than one hook in the room for our towels once done drying. Only sharing this one to confirm what you see in other reviews (they did not bother us) — the walls are thin, so bring earplugs if you’re a sensitive sleeper.

The staff here were SUPER friendly and very accommodating! They were attentive and went above and beyond with any request we had — from requests about the food, a last minute request to hold our luggage while we went to Machu Picchu, to reasonably priced, by-the-kilo laundry service that left our clothes super clean and smelling subtly nice (and two requests to wash delicate jackets where they came back in perfect condition!), to holding a package for our tour guides to pick up, requesting a taxi, and so much more. The place itself is cute as a button, too! The included breakfast was simple but fantastic. You got to choose from three types of eggs and a pancake for the hot portion, and they accommodated requests (eg, adding ham and cheese to the eggs). I loved that for the buffet part of the breakfast, they put out a little at a time. They constantly refilled the options, which to me indicated it was fresh. Also, the location can’t be beat! I could go on and on about what I loved about our stay at Yabar. I hope we have the luxury of coming back to Cusco and staying here. We’ve already recommended it to people we know that have upcoming trips!

The room and bed was massive. We had a lovely and comfortable stay here and the staff were amazing! It’s a couple of steps away from the main square and was so easy to pop back in for a quick rest before we continued on.

The hotel is well-located in the city center, but it is noisy 😟🙁. The room lacked heating, which was unacceptable given the cool nights 🥶😡. The TV only offered Spanish channels, was outdated, and lacked features like Netflix, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi, making it impossible to watch anything 😠👎. This is unacceptable in a hotel; I believe guests should be able to relax and watch something in the evening 😤. The price was good, but I would prefer to pay extra for better amenities 👍😊..

Very friendly staff, we arrived early and they made sure our room was ready as soon as possible so that we could get in earlier. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable bed. Perfect location, in the heart of the city.

The receptionists were always lovely and friendly. Especially Carina and Melissa. They helped me when a tour didn’t turn up to pick me up, they allowed me to store my luggage for a whole day free of charge

Shower was over the spa, a bit dangerous getting in & out. There was no water most evenings at least for a few hours, but when there was water it was good pressure and hot. There was a weird window from our bathroom that went into the hallway, at least the glass was frosted.
