Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNothing!
We like everything there: The ocean view, we can even see the whales. Very friendly and helpful hosts Franck and Yenita. It is an artistically decorated place that is pleasing to the eye while being super clean.

GermanyYerenita and her husband are very friendly and kind people. Especially Yerenita was helping a lot with my departure issues. I loved the view and the sound of the waves. As well as the outdoor kitchen. Coffee and tea are available. They also provide fresh fruits out of their garden. There is also a little terrace outside of the dorm. You can not fully enjoy the island by being rely on public transportation. Scooter/ car are almost a must have.

United StatesBeautiful hostel located right across a very nice beach. The care and love that have gone into the property make it a wonderful place to stay. Yenita and Franck are wonderful hosts, and the hostel is not only beautiful but very sustainable, which I truly appreciate. The only issue is that it can be a little noisy at night, but honestly I still slept quite well, and they do offer ear plugs ir you are super sensitive. I would absolutely stay here again.

United StatesThere are so many little rules that it can be a little awkward. I know that it’s simple but it just doesn’t feel good specially they tell you all this when you just got there and tired. it makes me feel like I'm a kid, where they tell you all the everyday stuff. I understand that make the place tidy and nice. Plus no mirror! I wish they can add one full body mirror.
Really tidy! And how kind are the owners! My flight was delayed, so I didn't have time to notify the owner that I would be arriving at the hotel late. When I arrive at the hotel I tried calling the owner's phone number, but there was no answer, so I left a voicemail. I was prepared to spend the night in my car, but after about an hour, she knocked on my car. It's already late, so I wasn't expecting her to be able to help me, but she did, and she wasn't upset; instead, she continued to smile and show me around.

United StatesThere is a fair bit of road noise particularly with Olympic related traffic. It’s not a problem during the day but more notable at night when sleeping. It is very close to the road.
The place is creative and clean and the hosts are wonderful people who put a lot of care in the hostel and the guests and are enjoyable to talk to. The breakfast and the views are excellent. I really like the deck/sitting area overlooking the beach. I love being in that part of Tahiti and this is a great place to relax there. There are some rules for guests to help keep it clean so if you choose to stay there, please be respectful.

GermanyAt the moment, there‘s a lot of traffic on the street in front of the hostel. But if you bring some ear plugs, you‘ll sleep well anyway ;-)
It‘s a very cosy place and you can feel and see the love that the owners put into it. You‘ve got everything you need, it‘s super clean and there are a cute cat and a lovely dog sharing the place with you :-) The owners are always up to a little chat and very helpful with everything you need / want to do and try to make your stay a really good one! Thank you so much, Yenita and Frank!

NetherlandsAs a solo traveller without a car it is not the easiest location. So be ready for hitchhiking and taking the bus with locals if you don't have a car!
It was the perfect getaway in Tahiti, far from the big cities and surrounded by all the locals. The hosts were more than friendly and so helpful. Fresh breakfast every morning with the best view. And not a single dirty spot to find in the place.

United StatesI did find anything I did not like in the place.
The place is very cute, unique, artistic(owner is an artist). I am so lucky to able to find that place. I still dream about the place. That place is the finale of our Tahiti trip. Thank you Yenita! I miss Papeye and Yuka!

United StatesI was greeted by the lovely hosts, Yanita and Frank and welcomed into their newly renovated hostel right by the beach. I don’t usually do reviews but this was such a fantastic stay, and some wonderful hosts! It’s worth the drive from Papeete! I look forward to the opportunity to come back to the island and stay again with them!

United KingdomThere was no AC or a fan in the bungalow we stayed in so nights got pretty warm but you get used to it. Also would definitely recommend hiring a car as it’s a little away from the shops.
We were greeted by Yeneta and Franck, the hosts, they were very friendly and gave us a nice tour. The property is beautiful and well kept, the bungalow we stayed in was nice and cleaned everyday by Yeneta which was great to come back to. We were given fresh fruit every morning and were just across the road from the local beach.
