You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe owner asked for money on site, then requested prepayment. I thought I saw air conditioner in the post, but it was two fans with the doors wide open. Getting lost two times and driving a rental car on a washed out dirt road, that had at least 10 abandoned vehicles on the side of the road. My car barely made it up there. The neighbors came to help. We were dissatisfied with what we found. On googlemaps it looked like in the nice area, but it wasn't. We did not stay. It was too hot in the house. We asked for a refund, but she won't. There was a bit of a language barrier as well.
Nice house, horrible location and it didn't feel safe.

LuxembourgThe facilties are pretty dated and simple. Many doors didn't close properly so there were plenty of gaps for insects to enter the house. No Air conditioning. The drive to the accommodation is a little adventurous, but don't let this discourage you.
The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Transportation from Ferry Terminal resp. to Airport arranged and on time. Great view from the balcony.

United StatesThe only drawback is lack of AC units in this house. But they provided electric fans. We checked in late at night and use of the fans over night was not problematic at this time of the year.
There is a spacious kitchen and family room in addition to two bed rooms and two bath rooms. Shower was great and we used their cloth washer. Walk out balcony space is also big and there is a sitting area in the yard. The neighbor area is peaceful and the review is pretty. My wife and I both worked remotely in this spacious house and our kid sat in the family room watching TV. Their wifi speed is sufficiently fast for us to join Teams calls and connect to VPN.
