Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaAs the rooms are up in the hill if you have suitcase it could get heavy.
This is a great central spot. I was here for one night but will come back again if I ever come back to Tahiti. Breakfast was a good spread. The cats and chicken are a good addition to the welcome party.

United StatesWe used the room as a resting place between a cruise and our flight at 9:10 pm. The room was very basic but that is what we needed. A good shower and a bed. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The transportation to the airport was needed, included and very much appreciated.

AustraliaA slight downside is that wi-fi is only available in the terrace/restaurant/reception area which may have been a nuisance if our stay had been longer.
We had a very short stay but really liked the simple accommodation offered by Fare Suisse. From the friendly and on time complimentary pickup from the ferry wharf to the early morning drop-off at the airport we couldn't fault it. Our bright en-suite room appeared to have been recently refurbished and the large shaded terrace/restaurant was very welcoming. The area is very quiet and safe though it was only a short walk downhill to the main esplanade of Papeete with its lively shopping, eating and entertainment opportunities.

Tahia is very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. The property and room specifically were very nice, clean, and comfortable. The room and bathroom were nice, with a comfortable bed and nice shower. This was a convenient place for our early flight the next morning. Tahia arranged for a 4:30 a.m. taxi for us with someone she frequently uses so we had high confidence that a can would be there in time. And, of course, the driver was early. This was a great place!

New ZealandWifi was only available at the restaurant area - but after a check in and a quick call, we were in bed to get up to explore, bright and early. The restaurant area is very open and inviting.
The complimentary shuttle to the airport and back was really convenient. It took the stress out of arranging transport for a quick turn around i.e. landing in Papeete and then leaving the next morning for one of the islands. The place looks more cosy and nicer than the pictures. There are also couches and chairs scattered around the hotel and a toilet and shower that could be used, which was convenient for when you returned after exploring the city which is easily reachable in 10-15minutes, and had time to wait or the shuttle to the airport. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile.

United StatesThe charge for continental breakfast was high for what you get. There wasn't enough food for everyone and not enough tables. There was a problem with the toilet that was not repaired during our stay.

United StatesThe “Free Shuttle” claim is deceptive. We had service from airport but not to cruise port, which was within walking distance. We were charged $50 per person for a 7 minute ride! I was told at Reception a taxi would be up to $200. There was no refrigeration available and the restaurant ran out of ice daily.
Common area was comfortable and food was good. Location was ok, but there was no information given about where anything was regarding stores, food shopping and the marina area. Another guest mentioned it to us.
