A quiet place to spend two or three days of relaxation. The staff is very kind and ready to help you with any problem. Breakfast and dinner well cooked, tasty but in a small quantity and not very diverse. The reef in front of the location is not very beautiful, but there are sharks and you can do diving and snorkel tours.

I visited 4 islands in Polynesia, and this was the BEST one for many reasons. The staff-owners are kind and welcoming and multilingual. The place is serene, remote, and un-touristy. I felt like I could actually relax, as a result. I read, explored the clear and warm waters, napped, walked around, took tours, and enjoyed a slow pace for a few days. It was beautiful. The property itself is well and lovingly maintained. The windows and balcony doors had no screens so the breezes swept through gently and unencumbered. It was like being bathed in winds. (If you need it, there is a mosquito net in the room). There are cute little doggies that greet you and every boat as you pull up and they watch you as you sail away. Pretty place, scenic.

It suited me just fine, but some people might not like that there is no wifi in the rooms and there are no tvs either. (THERE IS WIFI 24/7 in the main lodge). It’s really a place to unplug, read, write, and swim and explore.

    Property response:

Dear Kisha 🌺 Thank you so much for your wonderful and heartfelt review! We’re truly touched by your words and thrilled to know that your stay with us was the highlight of your trip through Polynesia. It means a lot to us that you appreciated the peaceful, off-the-beaten-path atmosphere — and that you were able to relax, unwind, and fully embrace the rhythm of island life. That’s exactly what we hope to offer all our guests. We’re also happy you enjoyed the company of our little four-legged welcoming committee! Thank you for highlighting the charm and simplicity of the place — and for noting that while the rooms are screen-free to let in the breeze, mosquito nets are available for comfort. And yes, no Wi-Fi in the rooms is a conscious choice: to help disconnect and reconnect with nature. We’re glad to see that really worked for you. We’d love to welcome you back today — or whenever your heart leads you back to the island. Warmest regards, Rose 🌹

Nice bungalow. Some staff were ok , hot showers

No fresh water, salt water in shower and sink. Internet pretty much non existent. Food cafeteria style no vhoice and very uninspiring. Located in the middle of nowhere on a sand spit. Extremely expensive and not worth the money. Would not recommend the place to anyone.

Fantastic isolated location! Great snorkeling just outside the door with plenty of sharks. Superb food and friendly staff.

The location is remote but beautiful. The staff is quite helpful, the lodge basically does not communicate on email but through booking.com it went well. They were very accommodating with requests. Food was very good. We recommend it, especially for a great price. Only downside is it is 30 minute boat ride to go to scuba. Tikehau diving comes out for pickups.

It was very hard to get any communication from them.

Perfect island getaway! Rose is an amazing host. They will pick you up from the airport and take you to a private island in the atoll, where you can relax and enjoy the most incredible scenery. The water is stunning, and the rooms are very comfortable. They also make delicious meals for you, which you look forward to every day! Highly recommend

The showers are salt water, which can be a bit of a surprise, but it’s an island, so it’s all part of the experience

Very interesting authentic place. Real Tuamotu. Good charming island. Nice friendly people. Capitan knows the see. Chef cooks testy. Snorkeling with the sharks. Nature. In public area there is a fridge and microwave. Good idea to take with you as much water drinks and dry snakes as you can. Take all kinds of some protections to.

If you have any problems with your health please don't go, it's not for you, it is very hot there, no air-condition area, and the nearest doctor in 40 min by boat.

Location is everything! very good staff. it's very nice place to do snorkelling. corals nearby are in good nature and untouched state. the sands, beach, lagoon, fishes, sharks, kayak... everything are amazing. you can go from one motu to another just by walking in the water. the host helped to book a day tour that visited a bird island and a beautiful motu that has many sharks suggest to read all the comments to understand what the hotel provides. Take two parts into the consideration when you decide to book this place: firstly, this is a wonderful place to visit. secondly, there is a hotel on the wonderful place. it met my expectation.

it would be great to improve some facilities to make it more comfort.

Remote location, but enough comfort for our family.

Owner could have been friendlier and credit card payments did not work — they required a wire transfer which was odd and inconvenient.

The location can’t be beat. We were right on the waters edge. I could see the sharks swimming in front of the resort. I loved the seclusion and the food was great too. The staff were also very accommodating.

I wish there was air conditioning, but with the windows and porch door open we were comfortable.

Stunning location, private island with a few bungalows that are truly in the middle of nowhere, for total relaxation and disconnect from the world. Clean rooms, nice and kind owners who run the place Kayaks available to explore the untouched islands around

Salty water in shower and sink It’s half board, and dinners were okay (medium quantity and quality). Breakfasts are simple but just what you need. Be aware it’s a remote location and pretty basic services are provided, which for us was totally okay but not for everybody

Everything here is out of this world. I gave some other properties a 10, but this one worth more than that. Just go there and enjoy. The ocean, the lagoon, the simplicity, the silence, the waves, the nature and I could go on and on. It’s a very small dot on this planet, so don’t go there with 5* hotel expectation, but with 100* experiences. You will find a confortable and spacious space, very clean and you will find people. With heart, with empaty, smiling and singing, living their lifes.

I honestly don’t understand the comments on some people. This island represents 0,00001 % of this earth. Respect the place and enjoy it. Respect that people working on this accommodation must also get some rest, they may not be there for you 100% of the time. Even so, they will help you even in their resting time if they will be around. You are communicated from the begin about the rest time (13:00-18:00), there are posts with their schedule and it’s no one fault that you are not reading, not respecting. Even priori to booking it’s mention to let them know in advance, if you need any other services. It’s a very small island, they need to prepare in advance. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a 7 star serving. This is not for you. People who appreciate nature and simplicity will enjoy this
