This was a really cute place to stay located directly on the beach (west side of the island). If visiting tikehau, we’d highly recommend this place to stay. It’s a small unit, but clean and accommodating. The cost was fair and the hosts were incredible. Very nice people!!! The island itself was beautiful, very, very remote. I’d highly recommend bringing a cooler of food and a couple bottles of wine on the plane with you. ;)

I have nothing but great things to say about the location, cottage, or the hosts. Only criticism would be that it would be nice to know a few things about food options and hrs of operation, best beaches for swimming, etc, upon arrival. Maybe a single print out or web page (scanned with QR code) to give the guests more information about the island and its way of living. Example: there are only a couple convenience stores to purchase food, they operate different hours, baguettes must be purchased/ordered a day before and can pick up the following day. There are a couple “snack bars” but again different hours (11am-3pm). Locations and hours of operation for the places to buy food would have been nice to know. We spent a couple days understanding what’s available and when, to get comfortable on the island, however we were only there for 3 nights. Oh also, only one family or person allowed in convenience store at a time, we figured this out by walking in and being told to leave. Lol either way we figured it all out.

This ocean front bungalow was spotlessly clean! The location was perfect for relaxing, but it was also possible to get around by bicycle. I did not need to use AC during my stay and only used the fan two nights. The seabreeze was wonderful. The kitchenette has all you need to prepare groceries from the store. My host lady, Konea, was kind and very helpful. Be sure to pack mosquito repellent.

I liked everything about Tikehau and Hiti Fare Tikehau. You must remember that you are on a remote island, and this is not a five-star resort. The boat comes periodically to bring supplies and is sometimes a day or so later than expected. This can result in relatively bare store shelves.

We love the sea, and we chose Keona‘s house since it has a super view onto the Pacific and the waves that break when the water is coming in. Lovely. The house is next to her own one, but has a better view and is vety private.. There is a large terrace plus options to sit under trees depending where the sun stands and if you want shade or sun. There are 2 double beds in the bedroom, which have air conditioning. One bathroom with a hot water shower. Kitchen/ living room are well equipped and a table for 5. We biked around the island on her good bikes.. The Pick up from the airport worked perfectly. We fully recommend this place. Thanks a lot Keona!, you are a lovely person. We wish you all the best.

Tikehau is a small atoll/island, therefore everything like stores and snack places are within walking and biking distance (bicycles available to travel around the island for free). The host has been very attentive, helpful and wonderful.

Nothing I didn't like. The entire stay was perfect.
