The shallow water and rather strong wind made for a less than ideal swimming spot (if the wind direction is the same as when I stayed there - however Matira beach is a 2 min walk and there was absolutely no wind on the Matira side).

Location, location, location - the over-water bungalow experience in Bora Bora is simply fabulous. Airport transfers were directly to the hotel pontoon, which was very convenient. Loved the egg bar at breakfast.

The views to Mt. Otemanu are not the greatest on Bora Bora, but it offers a different angle. The beach bar is a bit disappointing.

Lovely, good value for price, nice staff. The beach was amazing and also swimming under the overwater bungalow. The size of the room is fine. I particularly liked the glass table through which you could contemplate fish.

Truly one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. That color of the water is unbelievable. I loved our bungalow. It was fun to have our own swim deck. There was a bit of a mix up about the airport transfer but they made things right.

Repeated mistakes in the billing, once they charged us drinks we didn't take and on the final bill they duplicated a line. Breakfast buffet was bad, dry sausage and potatoes.

The vegan options in the menu could have more flavor. We the dish with tofu and quinoa for dinner which was a disappointment. With this price you'd expect more.

Beautiful place with a great location in the southern par of the island. Great staff, everyone was very friendly. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options in the restaurants. Breakfast buffet was really nice as well.

Some challenges with staff in the restaurant understanding English: our food came incorrectly and the quality was not that good for the money we spent. TV in the bedroom could be a little high so we can watch it in bed.

Lê Moana Resort - the staff on reception were great, the welcome from the lady providing us tea, towel and flower collar. The room is very comfortable, made with bambú and great facilities in general - we surprisingly got an upgrade and we just love it. They prepared a welcome drink in our room for our honeymoon, such love and care.. Breakfast is very tasty, organised and clean.

The food is overpriced and they need to change their menu, it’s the same food everyday. Chef can be more creative by adding more flavours. They need to have the beach cleaned first thing in the morning.

I occasionally had problems getting through the concierge button when I was trying to make a restaurant reservation. There was a French message and nothing happened. I also had some problems with the Instant Service button on the phone where nobody picked up

The holiday really began when I received the fresh tiare lei at the Bora Bora boat deck. I kept it in the room for several days as it remained fragrant. The general manager greeted me at the welcoming area and she was outstanding the entire stay. The fresh hot towel and juice was nice after my long flights from Finland. My luggage was magically whisked to my OWB during a welcoming tour. I got OWB number 5 which was conveniently close to the restaurants. No need to walk a long way. I had a mountain view OWB and it was magical. I stayed many days on the terrace just admiring the view. I’m very pale and burn easily so I moved my sun chair to the shade as I managed to burn a little even on the first day. I felt the OWB looked better live than in photos I had seen prior to the trip. I don’t think it looked dated. The wooden decor in the OWB was impressive.
