The location is just beautiful with the view of the mountains. The service was exceptional! Unfortunately I had a small accident, but the personal organised the transportation to the doctor and also notified him in advance. I am very grateful for that!

Minor detail but there was a mistake with our transfer where the boat left without us and it was a tight airport connection. The staff at the front desk worked very quickly to fix this so we have to give them credit for that but the transfer is very expensive so we feel that for the price that it shouldn’t have happened. When the boat turned around all the other passengers were very mad and treated us very poorly because they thought it was our fault. Also the massage we booked was not very good. The lady that did mine felt like she was in training and didn’t really know what she was doing and it was a bit sloppy at times- there was barely any pressure at all and honestly for the high price I don’t think that was worth it. Also I found a hair in my food at the sands restaurant for lunch - the staff acted quickly to remove from the bill and they were very kind about it.

The property is amazing and really pretty. The staff were amazing. Leilani was so welcoming and so friendly and just really good start to the trip. They checked us in to the hotel early which was amazing and we are very grateful for that as the room was spectacular. They offer day rooms which is honestly the most incredible touch because our transfer was later at night and we could shower before we leave. Overall incredible beach and lagoon. Paddle boards with see through bottom was very cool. The love lock forest was a cool experience and we truly enjoyed every worked we came across. Everyone was smiling and saying hello. Compared to some other stays in Tahiti we really need to commend the staff. The buffet was clean and well stocked.

Breakfast - unfortunately for a 5 star hotel I was expecting champagne available without charge and a couple of more options of food; a lot of mosquitos despite being a small fan for the fruits and fish. The machine for cappuccino etc was broken and only available coffee or hot chocolate. Overall the restaurant is a bit expensive, therefore, I was expecting more about the food.

The staff was very friendly, especially on the beach and breakfast time (after two days the ladies knew our name and already provided the hot chocolate I had ordered in the morning before). The Overwater is very spacious, clean and with good amenities, we ended up staying in front of the beach and had a great view of a small island. There are a few cultural activities such as coconut show and how to make a Ceviche, that we really enjoyed. The spa room (made of glass and we can see the fishes while receiving the massage) and the massages themselves were great. For the welcome, they took a pic of us in the beginning (given in the end), and provided a flower collar with a welcome drink. We were celebrating our honeymoon and a bottle of champagne was offered, such a nice gesture.

if there is a strong wind (as we had it for two nights) it is a bit noisy inside the villa. It is like a wistle inside the villa. it will disturb sleeping.

The facilities on the ressort are amazing. Everything is very well organized.The personel is really friendly and helpfull. We enjoyed it a lot to stay in the huge water villa. Very good food and drinks. Prices are high, but this was expected since it's Bora Bora. The spa is amazing. To receive a massage above a glass floor overlooking the tropical fishes was a unique experience.
