Really kind hosts that helped us and picked us up and organized all the transfer to arrive to them. They gave us bikes and breakfast and surprised us with fresh fruits and coconut water. One thing that is needed is to buy your water beforehand in the shop for drinking if you have sensible stomac. The view is amazing and simply the vibes are familial.

    Thank you Marco bye bye

We very much enjoyed the kind and charming hosts of this rental. They were very helpful in organizing our transportation and giving us tips and information on the area. They helped organize airport pickup for us and made sure we were able to make our excursion easily. I would recommend asking for their help booking any tours you'd like to do in Rangiroa as they are very familiar with the local companies. They even made us dinner one night and serenaded us in true Polynesian fashion. The bikes that are available with the unit were very helpful.

The location was the downside of this rental. As it is located in Tiputa, renters must take a taxi from the airport to the pier on arrival (1000 XPF/person) and then a taxi boat to Tiputa (public - 400 XPF/person, private - 800 XPF/person). It can be difficult to navigate at night, especially since the public taxi boats stop running around 4 or 5 PM. There are no grocery stores or restaurants near the property, and the ones near the pier are closed on Sundays and Mondays, which can be challenging if you arrive on Saturday night or Sunday. The first bit of water out of the shower was pretty rusty, but after we ran the water for a while it cleared up.

We expected our stay in Tiputa to be slightly off the beaten path - and it was, for the best of it! The property is at the "remote" end of the village, on the ocean shore - enjoy the noise of breakers during the night! First floor, nice view. No light pollution - enjoy the view of the Milky Way at night. Beyond the beauty of Rangiroa (expected), we were warmly welcome by the owner's family, who did everything to make us feel at home. Bread, butter, jam were offered for breakfast, and the "restaurant" they recommended was... the neighbor's yard, with 4 tables and a "beware of the dog" sign on the porch. The dog is nice and well-behaved, the cook very friendly and focused on healthy local dishes with fresh (garden-plucked) ingredients, which were outstanding (and more than decently priced)! Thank you for everything, this was a highlight of our vacation in Tahiti.

WiFi is a bit unreliable (because of the Netgear amplifier - I had the same thing at home and it worked equally badly). Going to Avatoru is limited by the taxi boat going every 30 +/- 10 minutes, which makes you spend a lot of time waiting for it...

    Property response:

    Thank you my freinds !!!!!

Taipo and her husband were super welcoming, we talked a lot, had dinner together. Taipo helped me book the excursion to blue lagoon and had a lot of useful tips concerning rangi or Polynesia at large. The studio is brand new, super clean and with a beautiful view on the ocean. I had the best stay.

Thank you kevin ! you are the best ! See you
