We had a wonderful time at Fare Bleu! There’s a beautiful lagoon right in front of the house, bicycles to explore the area, and above all, the host Emmanuelle, who is incredibly kind and helpful. We would definitely come back!

Everything. Emmanuelle, the host, is just the best. Right from before I arrived, she advised on getting to the place, the practicalities, the expectations. Then, she arranged for me to be met, taken to the quay, & met me at the other side to take me to the beautiful house, showing me, on the way, the way points to navigate to it. And what a beautiful house! Next to the lagoon, with wide verandahs to relax on. All the facilities you need. Kayaks, bicycles, snorkels, etc, all available for your use, freely. Lovely breakfasts arrive each morning. And dinner, by arrangement, should you wish. The house is airy & light, spacious & bright. I said it was my favourite place I'd stayed at on my extensive travels - & I meant it. I recommend Le Fare Bleu without hesitation.

That I only was there for too short a time.

Le fare blue is a true beach house. It’s right on the lagoon. You can go for a swim, snorkel or take one of the kayaks . It has a huge deck. It’s not overly luxurious but it’s perfect in its own right. And host Emmanuelle is such a joy to be around. A great cook too. She is also very creative and happy to share that vibe. You can paint your own parero or browse through readymade ones. We bought some very cute and affordable pearl jewellery from her.

    We didn’t dislike anything.

Emmanuelle is a wonderfully sweet, helpful, and friendly host! Before our stay, she sent us detailed information about transport, tours, dives, dining, and everything else we needed for a delightful experience. The best part of the accommodation is the spacious deck, where you can unwind on lounge chairs, a hammock, or at the table. Emmanuelle also arranged taxis to and from Tiputa Quay for us every day, making our stay effortless. Plus, she’s a fantastic cook—our dinners were delicious! The free kayaks were a fantastic bonus for exploring the beautiful lagoon, and the bikes made it easy to venture around the island. It was the perfect setting for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!

Clean and lovely accommodation. Great shared kitchen area, with filtered water (which was unexpected). The decking was the best part, lots of loungers and hammocks to relax on whilst looking out at the lagoon. The breakfast was generous and ideal to have available first thing in the morning. Emmanuelle is a great host, gave excellent details about how to get there and arranged taxis to and from the airport (plus the boat taxi which is a unique way to get to your accommodation!). She also very kindly rang some of the tour operators to help us arrange lagoon tours. The place is in a quiet remote area, which is lovely and peaceful. It’s 3km to the shop and pizzaria, which took us just short of 15mins to get there on the free bikes to use at the accommodation. The dog and two cats are very nice and well behaved. We loved this little peace of paradise.

I loved everything about my stay at Le fare bleu!! Emmanuelle gave great communication/information prior to my trip, so I knew what to expect. The accommodations were spotlessly clean and quite comfortable. The beds have mosquito nets, and there is a fan in the room. The breezes were wonderful, so I did not use the fan at all. The common room is spacious, and the kitchen is stocked with all cookware. In addition to all this, Emmanuelle is such a kind, happy, beautiful Spirit who does everything she can to ensure that your stay is special!! There is superb snorkeling right in front of Le fare bleu, and Emmanuelle has snorkeling gear, as well as kayaks, and bicycles for use at no extra charge. The front porch is a nice place to relax when you are not busy. It is easy to arrange for off site activities if you desire. I can't wait to return for another stay at Emmanuelle's Le fare bleu!

I actually loved everything about the owner and the accommodations.

It is spacious and very clean. The ocean view is lovely. The front porch is an exceptionally nice place to hang out or eat. There is a full kitchen that is well equipped. She also has filtered water available for drinking, and did a great job arranging the airport transfer even after our flight got delayed until late at night. Most importantly, Emmanuelle is a remarkably sweet, helpful, and friendly host. Absolutely the best!

    Nothing. It was great.

The pension is new, clean and beautiful. It’s right in front of the beach, it has very comfy sun beds to sit and relax outside and a big table to enjoy the meals. The area is calm and simply wonderful and the lagoon in front is like a pool. We took the kayak twice and explored around (it’s free), and we also used the bicycles taking them with us to the other side via the taxi boat. There are small exotic fishes and even saw a couple of small sharks at dusk. Emanuelle is a lovely person and a great host. Chloe the dog is sweet and there are also 2 cute cats moving discreetly around. Emanuelle suggested us things to do, like a great excursion and helped me out a lot when I got an ear infection. I could not ask for more from a host. If you want to enjoy Rangiroa at your own pace, take in the beauty of the place and leave stress behind this is the place. Thank you for everything!

There’s nothing I did not like.

Emmanuelle is a great person ,great host and even great chef. The house is wonderful and great placed just at 3 m from sea.. Rangiroa is very good place. But you need to remember that is a remote location..don't go for wifi ultra fast, don't go to look for fashon clubs..go and enjoy Rangiroa life style..

Out of the 8 islands we visited in French Polynesia - Emmanuelle is the most exceptional host! Before our stay she sent information about transport, tours, dives, food, everything we need to know to have a lovely stay. Her home faces ocean and trees with a huge deck where you can relax on lounge chairs, hammock and table. It's at the end of the road so it feels very private and quiet. Free kakays and bikes to visit close areas. We loved to bike down the more remote side of the island to swim in private pool lagoon! Everyday Emmanuelle asked us how we are and always had breakfast & coffee ready early. She gave gifts of clean drinking water and fruit from her garden (such a treat on a motu!) She also helped us arrange our tours. Thank you so much. We will stay again!

Come prepared with mosquito spray and you are okay. Come to enjoy the moment - you are on a tiny island that can sometimes lose electricity.

Emmanuel is incredibly vivacious and enthusiastic. She arranged our boat transport directly from the airport to Tiputa wharf where she picked us up in her car. Breakfasts and dinners on the porch were lovely and delicious, the space was beautiful, tranquil and right on the water. She lent us some delightfully rusty old bikes to get around the ilsand. Le Fare Bleu seems to be the only tourist accommodation on Tiputa, so we really felt like we got to experience a little slice of quiet island life, riding our bikes everywhere, snorkeling right outside the house and saying hello to all the neighborhood dogs. We loved everything about our stay and would go back again in a heartbeat.

Emmanuel is very upfront about the things travelers need to be aware of when staying at Le Fare Bleu, so there were no negative surprises. She warned us mosquitos could be an issue in the evenings (very true), so we brought bug spay and she provided a mosquito net for the bed. She warned us that Le Fare Bleu is in a semi remote location on Tiputa and that we'd need to ride bikes to get to the wharf for transport to the main island (Our morning and evening bike rides were delightful). It was all part of the experience! But if you are looking for a luxury beach resort with air conditioning, 24-7 wait-staff and no bugs, this probably isn't the right place for you.
