We stayed 3 nights and were only provided one beach towel each and no wash clothes or hand towels.

Location was excellent, room was clean, comfortable and affordable. If you just want a place to come and go from, this is an ideal location. If you are the type of person that wants to stay at you lodging for the entire vacation this might not work for you.

Can't think of a single thing

Everything was above our expectations. Awesome host, great location, clean and properly sealed building - no bugs (this was very important for me!). I wish we could stay longer - it was all booked well in advance. Next time we'll definitely stay here again.

The only negative was having to drive to the beach, but that was only 5-8 mins away by car.

Our host was very attentive and right next door if we needed anything, but also gave us plenty of space. My daughter and I loved our bungalow! It was great being able to easily walk to restaurants, especially for dinner, after a big day. There are also shops and a grocery store in walking distance. We had a wonderful week there, and my daughter fell in love with one of the dogs on the property, who paid us daily visits.

We booked room with break fast and when we arrived they mentioned it was not included, only coffee (since we drink a lot of coffee this is already amazing :))) ) . But they offered transfer to ferry round trip so its all good to us :) also 3 small details: no airdryer , no kitchen extractor fan which left the home smelly but its mangeable. and the window next to kitchen didnt have curtain and in the last 2 days the neighboors were always with huge light in balcony so it was a bit harder to sleep. Please note we did not mention any of this to the employee so maybe it could have been easily solved so take this feedback only as improvement details and not a complaint itself ok? We loved the place!

Location, great value for price, transfer free to ferry, very nice employees. Great place if you wish to cook at home. Really recommend it.

Not much, just like other accommodations be aware of roosters and ants. There is a spray for the ants in the room.

Wonderful host, great area, comfortable little cabin, clean, nice layout, close to restaurants and the sea, great value. Before arriving at Maharepa we stayed at a different accomodation and moving to Maharepa really improved our overall experience on the island! Highly recommend this place

Absolutely everything, perfect stay. The lodge is absolutely beautiful - 10/10. We stayed at the Hilton and Sofitel while on the island but this lodge scored the highest for us on great value and friendly stay. Things we liked - • comfy bed • great, large balcony with nice chairs • well equipped, clean kitchen and bathroom • extremely clean • FREE pick up and drop off from port - which is very expensive in French Polynesia • most friendly, kind and helpful owners • idyllic garden • lovely owners with help you organise tours, trips and things to do on the island • great location on the island - minutes walk from great restaurants, fantastic bakery, bank, supermarket, pharmacy and beach cafes • could easily stay here days / weeks!

Location close to restaurants, supermarket, tours, scooter rental. All equipment for cooking at home too. The shower is really nice! There’s a washing machine, the host gave us snorkells too.

Wonderful bungalow in an big garden, pretty new, very clean and furnished in a tasteful style. Kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom has a big shower. A front deck with table and chairs. Restaurants and shops nearby. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, I would come back any time!

Fantastic location: close to shops, supermarket and rental cars/ scooters. The surrounding is beautiful and the small hut was fabulous. As a solo traveler it was more on the expensive side but it was so worth it. Really friendly staff and they provided pick-up from ferry terminal. There is no public beach nearby but you can just rent a scooter and drive to the next one, I can recommend staying here :)

The dogs at this property are so cute and loving. It’s brand new and the room was perfect. We ended up staying an extra night and booked last minute just to stay on the island but we’re blown away by what a cute place. Breakfast was served on the patio by our host and we had access to Amazon prime and Netflix.

The bungalow was directly behind a bus/rental company. It was quite noisy at times when busses left/arrived. For public beaches (all close beaches were private) you definitely need a car.

Everyone was lovely, super friendly and very helpful! The bungalow was clean and a water filter was provided.

The houses are very new, but extremely poorly equipped - do not expect a kitchen as you imagine in bungalows - the equipment is very poor (pictures...) also the final production is superficial, cheap equipment installed such as a TV as big as a computer screen, bathroom (shower without a partition and when showering everything is wet, cheap extremely small toilet bowl), equipment in the kitchen is not even sufficient for basic cooking. Cleanliness is lacking! The surroundings are nice, but the owner could fix at least about 200m of the path to the accommodation. Everything is muddy, extremely large holes. And if a guest goes on foot to the shop or to their restaurant, which is on the main road, they come back muddy, dirty. I think it is not difficult to order 2-3 trucks of gravel, if nothing else... Considering that the accommodation is newer, it would be necessary to make an effort for its continued success. In these conditions, I would not book here again. For similar money you get better accommodation. ADDITIONAL *** After correctly submitting a rating for the accommodation and recommendations for the owner (which would serve to increase the comfort of the guests of this accommodation), I received an extremely disrespectful and rude response from the owner. I am attaching this message in the attachments so that potential interested parties will be informed about the attitude towards the customers of this provider. After such a reaction and attitude towards the customers, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ACCOMMODATION!! Obviously, the owner does not accept well-intentioned criticism and recommendations. It is more than obvious that he only cares about his own earnings (without additional improvements for the well-being of the guests). I SUGGEST THAT YOU FIND ACCOMMODATION ELSEWHERE, WHERE THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND MORE RESPECTFUL TO THE CUSTOMERS! TRANSLATE (owner's response) - in attachment and TRANSLATION above!

The basic accommodation is good. The owner who manages this also has quite a few other activities such as transportation, rent a car, tour organization, bar, grill restaurant,... OK, all well and good, but he will also have to take care of the comfort of the guests in these accommodations. There are 4 houses, on an open meadow, with OK infrastructure. Hot water, air conditioning, WIFI, TV with connection, washing machine in a shared laundry room, which is not yet equipped. NEGATIVE !!! TRANSLATE (owner's response) You are bad people, if you don't have the money to pay for luxury, don't judge the accommodation by the price you paid, especially in French Polynesia. You should have just added what needed to be improved, not your crappy reviews. Oh, the equipment is cheap, the decoration is average. I hope misfortune follows you for the rest of your life.
