Fantastic location with everything you could need and very private. About 300m to the beach and an easy 10 minute walk into Fare for dinner or supplies at the huge Super U supermarket. Europecar hire car 200m away was an added bonus. We hired a car for 2 days, which was enough. The coral gardens area is not to be missed for snorkling, even though much of the coral is dead. The Yacht Club isn't really a yacht club like some might imagine, but a lovely little cafe/restaurant right on the water's edge and the perfect spot for a bite to eat or a drink. We loved our stay and would happily return to Mili Miki House.

Wifi and therefore the TV was a bit hit and miss at times. This was not the owners' fault as a high speed cable had been installed. The owner was lovely and turned the router on/off which got it going again. We travelled in the wet season and unfortunately had 2 days of torrential rain and cloud. This affected the hot water on our last day only as it it likely runs off solar like most properties in French Polynesia.

Meeting the owners to make payment and get the key code was timely and efficient. They kindly allowed us to arrive early to leave our bags so we could explore the town before check-in time. The location is a very easy walk to town and to a nice beach - It seemed there were two paths to the beach that are private, and another that is for you. This isn't communicated, so take care, as the arrangement isn't obvious - you might assume, like we did, that all of the properties there are vacation properties from the same proprietor. From the beach, it's a very easy walk to the Yacht club where they sell good meals at good prices. Friday and Saturday nights are happy hour 5-6pm with live music. The club has a bar that turns into a discotech / nightclub at a certain point on those nights. The shower has excellent pressure. The apartment is very well appointed with everything you need, including things like a first aid kit and beach towels. The fridge is a good size and you have everything needed to make basic meals. The air conditioner is very effective. The apartment is well sealed, so it's easy to keep out insects and lizards if you prefer not to have them inside. The courtyard is ambient and equipped with a BBQ, which is handy. There are a lot of dogs in the area, and they are lovely.

The apartment had a really bad smell when we arrived. It was still being cleaned (because we arrived early to leave our bags). We didn't mention anything because we thought the problem might be fixed during cleaning. However, when we returned to the apartment, it still smelled very bad. The air conditioner was able to remove some of the smell but not completely. It was there for the whole stay. We didn't bother to mention it since we think there wouldn't have been many options to correct it. Unfortunately, a couple of things in the apartment were broken, and we weren't told about them. The first was the induction cook top, which was cracked into three pieces. It seemed unsafe to use like that - we weren't sure, but we decided not to risk it. The other broken thing was the bathroom tap handle. It was only a minor inconvenience. However, in both circumstances, we weren't told about those things being broken, which caused us some worry that we might be blamed for them. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. Some people have left reviews about the bathroom being inside the bedroom. Since there is no door for the bathroom, this might bother some people. We were only 2 people, so we mainly used the bed in the lounge but I can see how it could be awkward with more people. I've left photos to show the layout of the apartment.

Coquette was so helpful, picking us up from the ferry and helping us with anything we needed. The cottage is really cute, AC and TV’s large and worked well. Bed comfortable. Kitchen great. BBQ outside. 10 mins walk to town, 200 yards to beach. Highly recommended.

    Everything was excellent

Great location. Great host. Great apt.

Bathroom is in the main bedroom. So with multiple adults it wasn’t the best situation

Close to the beach and 5-10 min walk to town. Hosts were amazing and provided pick up and drop off to the ferry and were very responsive. Comfortable stay.
