Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere are multiple locked gates on driveway to enter the property which is good for security once checked in. However, despite using app in advance to notify manager what time we would be arriving. We never recieved a code or a way to open the un manned gate on our own to enter property, so we could subsequently check in. Please note that with these security gates they are designed so that you cannot walk around or bypass gate. They are unmanned and have no call system, intercom, button or camera. You can not visually see the hotel property from the 1st locked gate, nor can the hotel staff see you there waiting to be let in. We were extremely fortunate to finally have had a vehicle leaving at the time we needed to enter. There was no WiFi at 1st gate, nor an intercom system to call manager office to be let in. This was a hassle for us, appearantly the access code was not given to us as it should have been. My tip here, is make sure, BEFORE you set out for this property that you have some type of code or way to signal Hotel manager that you have arrived and need entry thru the gates. There is no call button!! We spent more than 15 min at gate, without WiFi access in heat trying to go thru paperwork I had printed off just prior to travel trying to figure how to enter. Again... we got lucky someone else was leaving and it triggered gate to open. Use of bicycles would be fantastic here.
The facility/ suites were very newly constructed, everything in working order and clean. It was clean, not scuff marks from tourists hauling luggage in and out yet. The private plunge pool was clean, water, crystal clear. A/C in bedroom and main living area. The lagoon beach is small and does have some shade; it gives easy access to ocean lagoon. We enjoyed the free use of kayaks. Quiet property. We used dishes, microwave, and fridge. We did not cook any large meals. Not far from small local grocery market where you can get basic necessities. We rented car. The staff were friendly and polite.

CanadaNo cleaning service for the rooms, you have to go get fresh towels by yourself. Buildings and doors are not sealed properly so you may get lizard and insects in your room more often but i guess that's normal for moorea.
Hidden Gem, so much more affordable than a hotel and much cleaner and newer. Beach is nice and close to an area with reef sharks and stingrays. Private pool is amazing.

New ZealandThere is a noisey gravel road that runs past the villas and it takes away from what could have been a peaceful experience. We also had a lot of gekko poo around our villas everyday all over our floor and beds and belongings.
Brand new accomodation well fitted out with everything you need and a small pool

United StatesWe loved the location. Near a number of good restaurants and Coco Beach pickup spot. It is great that you are just a short walk to the beach and grab kayaks. The villa itself was pristine. The kitchenette was so nice we decided to cook a few meals. Also, having laundry in unit was clutch.

United StatesThe location is on the other side of the island, Takes 30mins drive to get there. There is a single lane dirt road getting there. Since they are new google maps will show a plot of land. Most tours we booked the villas were not listed for pick up since they are new. Over time this will be fix FYI
Staff was great. They have "Private beach" access. They have kayaks with vest ready to go for an outing. The snorkeling spot where the tour boats go is not that far.

United StatesWe heard from others staying on the property that they paid just a little more than us and had pools and were closer to the beach. If we had known we were booking the long ramped room by the entrance gate we may not have done it. Don't get us wrong the property is super clean and new. We just felt a little ripped off with the price we paid. Maybe ask which unit you will be staying in.
We come to Moorea at least once year. We often stay in different places. We decided to pay more than we usually pay this time around to see what we would get for the extra amount, it was about $400 a night with no pool. We can't say the extra amount was worth it. First off it was difficult to get into the property. There are two gates that need to be opened in order to get inside. We informed them we were arriving between 2:00 and 3:00 and they said the gate would be open but it wasn't. We were at a loss at how to get in. Finally someone else came and we followed them in. The reception desk asked why didn't we call them. We didn't have international calling on our phone plan and didn't think we needed it. We were then told they were full and the only room available was a room for handicap people that had a long ramp we had to walk to get into the room. It was also located by the entrance gate, furthest from the beach. I've stayed in less expensive places closer to the beach. I have to say the room itself was amazing. Everything is new. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn't use it. The water dispenser was really convenient, great cold water, or hot water for tea. The AC ran great, the bed was fine, the bathroom nice size, washer and dryer were great. The deck was nice although something kept happening with the sliding glass door and we would get locked out. Oh yes the locking door was also a plus. I loved that we had our own combination to lock our door. When we first checked in we were given a clicker to unlock both gates. The the reception office closed. After a beautiful sunset we decided to go out for dinner, got in our car, clicked the gate and nothing happened. The clicker didn't work. We were trapped in the property. Luckily a couple came by that had a clicker and got us out. The next day when reception opened we got a working clicker. We loved the kayaks they supplied for free.

United StatesThere was no air conditioning for the main living area. Mosquitos were seriously invasive and overwhelming! Therefore you could not use the main living area after dusk. You had to quarantine in your bedrooms (which were the only areas with AC) after dusk which was not why we booked a large villa. We booked a large villa so we could hang out together and enjoy the evening together. This was not possible. There is no restaurant on site.
Villa was lovely with quality amenities. Pool was nice. Staff was nice.
