    The location is great! The beach is amazing, there are restaurants nearby, canoes were available for free, the house was okay.

    See above. The person who owns it would not stay here. No one thought about making sure everything worked properly though I was told by a local that the prior guest had to do what I did - get a fan. I borrowed one from a kind neighbor (you'll love the people). The prior renter had to have the refrigerator replaced. Even the seemingly disinterested agency people were very nice but ever so slow to help me (the greeter was nice and earnest but her ability to help was limited). Mealtime or a day off was more important than my problems for sure.

    Tahiti is beautiful. Nice location. The porch is great. There is a big comfortable patio table. But I saw very few people on their patios bc of heat, humidity. There is no way to plug in a fan. Refreshing outdoor shower. The kayaks are adequate. Fan didn't work. No instructions on how to operate appliances. AC didn't work. Took a day to fix. Stove didn't work. On 7th day it was finally replaced. The seating is uncomfortable. The chairs are hard. The couch is not designed for sitting. Advertised as sleeping 4 but really would be room for three (maybe two small children on the couch/bed combination). The kitchen table has room for one, maybe two people. I bought a spatula. If you rent this place you'll see it, it's colorful blond wood and turquoise. The cookware is non stick but there were no cooking utensils so, if I had not bought the spatula, only metal flatware was capable of use. There were few outlets so the coffeemaker and toaster were on the microwave and refrigerator. There is a closet but no place to put clothes that are usually not hung - not one drawer; everything is out on the very limited counter space. There is no lighting for reading. I get it, most people don't read but the kitchen light is not adequate. I used my cellphone flashlight to illuminate and operate the stove as did the tech who replaced the first one.

    Beautiful location. Our host was very responsive via WhatsApp. She met us at the house to hand us the keys and explained how everything worked. AC was working well, all the appliances too. Bungalow was very comfortable for 4 people. We bought groceries nearby and had meals at the house. Neighbors were quiet and the beach was just a short walk.

    A little better furnishings would be nice, but for the price paid, they are in line with what I expected and what the pictures show.

    Location, location Location! The accommodation is a little basic, however its location near Timpianers beach cannot be beat. This is the place to be on Moorea. You can paddle out to the stingrays and sharks, there is an incredible dive shop Scubapiti that does scuba and whales for the best prices around.
