The only thing to improve is the signage getting there. The entry to the driveway has a sign but it is easy to miss because it is located IMMEDIATELY after you have taken an exit off the main highway.

Every little detail of the room was well thought out. Nice lighting, large comfortable bed, roomy bathroom with two sinks etc. The shared kitchen area is comfortable and well equipped with a dining area and lounging area.

Tamanu Lodge is a great property located very close to the airport! It is also close to a shopping mall and restaurants. The room was very clean, big and had all necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The owner Vanina is an amazing person with a very generous and kind heart. She will make you feel at home and comfortable, make sure to chat with her! I’ll definitely be back on my next Tahiti trip!

had a great stay at tamanu Lodge. everything was very clean and modern. kitchen very well equipped and there is even a whirlpool. amd the owner was very friendly and heartwarming. there is a supermarket and a bakery just across the street and the public bus goes there too. definitely recommend it!

Easy check in and check out process. The room was really nice and comfortable. Had a short stay but it was a really nice one and I would book again.

Unfortunately the hot tub is kind of useless because there’s no hot water. Breakfast is not included unless you pay an extra fee (quite high).

The property is managed by Vanina, a super nice host and the best host of the island of Tahiti. She came pick us up at the airport and welcomed us with flowers, then she dropped off and gave us a shell necklace as a present. She went above and beyond helping us making reservations to restaurants, telling us how to get around etc The property is very good value for money for Tahiti, it’s 10 minutes’ drive from the airport and close to a nice area of cafe and restaurants. It’s very comfy and clean.

It was a good base for exploring the coast during our short visit. Hired a car from the lodge which was handy. Transfers arranged to and from the airport. Laundry facilities available.

There didn't seem to be a garden green space to relax in though there was a hot tub available which we didn't use and a nice communal area.

Vanina was an exceptional host - nothing was too hard. She prepared an excellent local dish for our dinner at short notice on our first evening and presented me with a gift when she it was my birthday date when filling out the car hire form. Breakfast was excellent with some local Tahitian element every morning. She also hired out her little car to us which allowed us to see most of the sights of Tahiti over two days. Because my French wasn't so good she booked a local restaurant for us for the second night and we had the best seat in the restaurant watching the sun go down over our evening meal. She came with one of her staff to taxi us to the cruise ship pier and presented us with shell necklaces as we left. She was an excellent host and provided us with an insight into Tahitian culture that a big hotel wouldn't have provided.

I enjoyed being made welcome by the owner who was joyous, understanding and just an exceptional host. The spacious kitchen/dining area and the facilities in it were great. The accomodation was relaxing, spacious and comfortable. Very nice room to sleep.

We did not have breakfast at the lodge but Vanina did bring us fresh fruit. Such a nice and unexpected treat. Viana makes you feel very welcome. She is so friendly and quite lovely. She picked us up at the port and took us to the airport as well. That was a real plus. Our room (the family room) was very nice, clean, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast area is large and has everything you need to prepare a meal. The Lodge is located close to a grocery store, a nice beach, several resturants and a lovely museum. We ate at The Sunset Resturant on the beach and at Yowko Pizza. The food was good and those waiting on us were kind. We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge and being in the community of Punaauia. We would definately stay at Tamanu Loge again. Thank you Vanina.

Nothing, everything was perfect for our last night in French Polynesia.

Very cosy little spot conveniently located close to Papeete airport. Host was lovely too and the jacuzzi is the cherry on top of the cake!
