Just make sure you have mosquito spray as there can be a lot in this area. Nick has incense to deter them and also the zappers for the evenings

Nick was such a lovely host and made you feel very welcome. Really well equipped kitchens with everything you need. Also very cute and playful cat🥰 super comfy beds!

Nick was always giving advice on where to go and what to do. The house is only a 10 minute walk from the best beach. This was my best stay of my whole trip and I highly recommend it.

The bungalow in the garden was lovely, but due to location and not having sealed walls it did mean a lot of mosquitoes. A net and bug repellant was all provided but we still got bitten a lot so the main house would have probably been better to avoid bugs, especially if you wanted to relax in your room. Luckily we were out exploring most of the day so it was only really at night.

The space is lovely, well decorated and had everything we needed for a few nights in Tema’e. Convenient location for Tema’e beach and a lot of the activities around the two bays (with a car everything is easy to access). Nick gave really helpful local recommendations and tips.

Nicks place had everything I could need or want. It is well equipped and set in a beautiful garden. It is only 5 mins from a stunning view point and local beach. Nick was extremely friendly and welcoming and I can’t thank him enough, he was always happy to help out in any way. This was a great start to my trip in French Polynesia.

Nick was super flexible with early check in or if i needed anything, he was always happy to assist. The location is really close to the best beach on the island and everything was very clean and tidy always. Free yummy coffee made a great start of every morning. Thank you for everything!

Nothing honestly

I had a great time here. The property is very comfortable and clean and stylish. Nick the host was so helpful and kind, and speaks fluent English. Also it was nice to meet and talk to other travellers, but also enjoy the quietness of the place. Truly a great place to stay in Moorea

Nothing, I loved it!

Truly had the best time here! Nick was a great host with lots of information and tips for things around Mo’orea. I visited as a solo traveler, but never felt alone because there was such a good community feel here. Comfortable stay, very easy to cook your own meals in the kitchen area, & the cutest hostel kitty! I would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay here when I come back to visit Mo’orea!

I was staying in the bungalow in the lovely garden of this place. The double bed has a mosquito net, a fan and is nicely decorated with a night light, It felt like staying at a friend's house. I also rented the scooter to get around the island. You can walk from the house to the best beach of the island but I would say you definitely need a set of wheels to get around Moorea. The kitchen is well-equipped and spotless and it's really nice to have the big table outside under the veranda to meet other travellers. The owner Nick is really friendly and helpful and I appreciated his restaurant recommendations. As a former chef, he knows all the best places on the island.

I honestly wish I could have stayed longer.

The host was super helpful in pointing to all the best spots around the island. The house was clean, cozy, and in a great location—not far from the beach at all! I had such a great time. Highly recommend staying here, and I'm definitely planning to come back!

Very comfortable, clean and well serviced place to stay. Rooms were very nice and the shared areas were excellent. The property has a warm welcoming feeling and guests interacted very well to make a communal feeling. The property is close to the ferry terminal and the airport. Nick was a great host, always there should anything be needed. He was constantly ensuring the place was clean and well maintained.

Of course, there have to be (especially in-house) rules (shoes, eating, waste and so on). However, a bit less strictness would even add to a more relaxed atmosphere.

I'll write in English, so that these comments will be understood by everyone. I heartily do recommend Tema'e Beach House. Nick, the owner, is a really nice and attentive guy - looks after his guests as well as the premacy itself & keeps it clean & proper (mind you: not always an easy task in tropical surroundings!). And really helpful are his pick-ups at the ferry port (of course, you have to pay for this service - but at a fair price). Those arriving by plane don't have to worry anyway: airport is only a 300(!) metres walk away. What's a superb experience: sitting together with the other guests from all over the world & sometimes having in-depth discussions. On top of it, wonderful Tema'e beach is in walking distance as well (approximately 15 minutes) - be aware of the strong current of the sea, though! For the adventurous types: take an astounding bike ride around Mo'orea (60 km, approx 3-5 hrs ride, depending on personal fitness) - the bike is working now, we repaired it :-))). As for lagoon tours: contact Moorea Miti Tours, excellent!

The host (Nick) is a very relaxed and easygoing guy. At the same time the house and the facilities were very nice and clean. The house is just a 5 minuit walk away from the public beach with excellent snorkeling opportunities.

This is a totally delightful place, and Nick is a wonderful host - friendly, kind, and accommodating to all his guests. The house is beautiful and very clean, simply decorated with really cool local artwork. I stayed in the dorm, and in a private room. Both were nice, but the private room was a bit more comfortable because it had a ceiling fan. There is a gorgeous beach just a short walk away. Highly recommend!

Dormitory is maximum 4 people, which is good. As you share the house and bathrooms with others, this is not the place if you seek maximum of privacy. Host and other guests were very nice though.

Nick is a great host and helps you with recommendations of what to see on Moorea, snorkeling, scooter, restaurants. The house is very clean and a fully equipped kitchen. One of the best beaches on Moorea is 5-10min walk away. Airport 2min, ferry 5km. So a very good location to explore the island from (be aware that you should have a scooter/car/bike. Just ask Nick in advance if he can recommend something.

I loved this place! It’s very beautiful and Nick takes really good care of it. It’s very clean and tidy, and has everything you need. One of the nicest beaches in Moorea is only a 10 min walk away and it's not far from the ferry either. The environment is super friendly, guests were really nice, and Nick is always available to help with everything you need. He also knows the best spots to rent scooters and cars at a good price.

The vibe was very friendly, relaxed and homely. I met some lovely fellow guests. The host Nick was very friendly and was there to answer any queries I had whilst leaving me to self direct my stay. He also made an amazing rum cocktail :)
