We had a great time in Villa Sunrise. Both the caretakers and owner were very friendly and helpful. It started with a good description to find the place, located in a en enclosed area only accessible through a gate with entry code, which made us feel very safe. The location is stunning, beautiful view over the lagoon. It's not an ideal place to go snorkling though, at least when we were there the water was a bit murky and it's not deep. But everything is nearby in Moorea. Villa Sunrise has two small appartments built on the sides of the main house where the owners/caretakers live. You can use the swimming pool and kitchen in the garden, as well as kayaks. I would certainly return here.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was basic but very spacious, with an exceptionally comfortable and large bed. Everything was spotlessly clean and the location couldn’t be better. The hosts were wonderful—warm, welcoming, and even took us on an unforgettable sunrise boat tour to swim with sharks and rays. Breakfast was lovely each morning, and we really appreciated having access to a kitchen and washing machine. Fresh towels were provided, and the hosts were happy to clean the room mid-stay if needed. A genuinely caring and kind place to stay—highly recommended.

I would rate this accommodation 1000/10 if I could! The hosts are an incredibly kind couple who made us feel welcome the minute we stepped foot inside the accommodation. We spent a total of 9 nights at Villa Sunrise Moorea and it exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. We received fresh fruit, baguettes and jam every morning for breakfast. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to cook most nights. The room itself has ample storage, shower was hot or cold depending on preference, the bed was big and comfortable, and the air con worked very well! The pool was big and clean and the loungers were very comfortable and had cushions and towels. There were free kayaks to use and the host What we loved most about this accomodation was the hosts hospitality. We truly felt so welcome at this villa and they always went above and beyond throughout our stay. The host very kindly took us kayaking multiple times to snorkel which we were very thankful for. We would come back in a heartbeat, if you are debating booking this accomodation, don't hesitate to book! You won't regret it, Villa Sunrise Moorea made our trip :)

Fantastic! We had a wonderful stay with the two owners and their really friendly dog, kira. 🐕 The villa is right by the sea, with a pool and kayaks that can be used free of charge. The owner even showed us some beautiful spots. From the loungers or the dining table, you can watch rays and sharks swimming by. Such unforgettable moments. Although breakfast wasn't included in the booking, we got such delicious baguettes and jam every morning. Coffee was already ready when we arrived in the communal kitchen every morning. There's also a refrigerator and everything you need for cooking. Last but not least: a BIG THANK YOU to the owners of the villa for this incredible stay at Moorea. They are such warm and incredibly nice people. We felt very comfortable from the very first moment and didn't want to leave. 🤩❤️ Patrick and Nicole

The Villa Sunrise is a picture perfect Paradise stay. The room was very comfortable, the shower excellent, the air conditioning felt great, the kitchen area to make your own food had everything, the outdoor eating space made the whole experience delightful and the pool was exceptional. It's large enough to get a good swimming and also just to sit and relax plus they provided padded chaise lounge chairs. I used their kayak several times and enjoyed seeing the fish and turtles! The hosts were more than helpful and there was bread and jam served in the morning. Shops were less than a 10 minute walk away. Beautiful safe neighborhood right on the water.

It is a little further and definitely need to have your own method of transportation; the bathroom smells a little funny but can definitely open door for better air circulation. Everything else is really great!

Access was a little tricky - when you come to the gate you're not sure its the right place as the name of the villa is not on it. We figured it out though. I would have liked to have a lightweight duvet rather than just the top sheet. I did also use the blanket.

The hosts are simply the sweetest, nicest, most caring people. They were totally attentive to us. Welcomed us in to their home with such hospitality. The pool is gorgeous as is the location of the home which is directly on the water. We loved the view. Their accommodations are very clean, nicely designed, and comfortable. we enjoyed meeting the guest in the other suite as well. Breakfasts in the shared kitchen were fun! We also enjoyed the use of their kayak.

The wording and pictures in the ad presentation is somewhat confusing. We thought that the kitchen and lounge area were integral to the unit. In fact these are shared with one other rental unit. At the time of our stay we were the only guests staying, so this did not have an adverse effect on our stay.

Nice pool and location was good if you want to get away from the tourist area. Good to have a rental car but if you want to walk there are stores within walking distance. Very clean and friendly Hostess. Shared kitchen is great and morning coffee and bread is a nice treat. Kayaks to go on the water are great. Had a good stay there.

Everything was perfect.

Very clean and well cared for, beautifully decorated property with a private ocean view terrace and pool. The room was clean and cozy. Kitchen was well equipped, and fresh baguette with butter and garden fruits for breakfast was a wonderful bonus. We appreciated kindness of the owner and lady who took care of us. And enjoyed to be greeted by their dog Kira every time we come back.

The accommodations are wonderful. You have a spacious room with bathroom, nicely decorated, the bed is very comfortable. The common areas are amazing, the kitchen is very well equipped, the pool is very good and the picnic area is super good, we had breakfast every day watching the sea, you can also use kayaks... For the type of trip that we have done the location we consider it very good. The attention of the owners has also been very attentive at all times trying to make our trip as pleasant and comfortable as possible. One of the best places we have ever stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay at villa sunrise moorea. The two hosts are very welcoming and take great care of their guests' needs. Everything is extremely clean, modern and lovingly furnished. The communal kitchen was very practical as there are not many places to eat nearby. Therefore, we definitely recommend a scooter or a car. The pool and the terrace overlooking the lagoon were an absolute highlight of our trip. Almost like being in an overwater bungalow :-) Many thanks for everything. We can definitely recommend the accommodation.

The room was very spacious, the location is unbeatable with access to kayaks and to snorkel right off the property. Raita and Tainui take excellent care of the guests, and are just delightful people in general. They made me feel welcome and safe, and they are just excellent people. There is fresh fruit right from the garden every morning from breakfast. My only regret is not staying longer!
