We spent five wonderful nights at Villa Vaiana. The villa was charming and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. All facilities, including the pool, were clean and fully functional, even if a little dated. The location was excellent, offering beautiful views of Cook’s Bay and easy access to amenities such as a grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants. We enjoyed the company of the dogs and cat but also appreciated that they weren’t allowed upstairs in the bedroom area.

What a special place! Absolutely phenomenal view of Cooks Bay throughout the property, especially from the upstairs terrace. Chantal was a warm and wonderful host and was always on hand to offer advice/tips on the local area, and kindly offered transfers that were much more reasonably priced than taxis. It very much feels like staying in a home, with a great kitchen and pool available to use. We especially loved her adorable doggies who greeted us enthusiasically each morning! Merci Chantal!

Love the old retro feel. The view from our room was excellent. It is definitely not a 5 star resort cause you are in a lovely women's house. We enjoyed our stay.

She has a lot of animals so if you are allergic or don’t like animals don’t book then. Not a minus on the review since it wasn’t in the description but there was no air conditioning.

Very spacious, great location with an amazing view. We’re able to use host’s facilities like her kitchen, pool, fridge, and patio. Bed was comfortable and shower had nice water pressure

It was extremely dirty and gross. It smelled of dog piss and cigarette smoke both inside and outside. The pool was unclean and not swimable. Several dogs and a cat in the household. There were puddles of dogpiss on the ground floor every day, people would step in it and spread it around. The shower had no hot water. The cat walked on everything including the kitchen. The bathroom was very dirty as the house in general. The house is in a state of deteriation, such as wood being termite infested, windows barely open/closable, ceiling fan shaking periliously. The host also has an old dog only allowed in the garden that shows sign of abuse and neglect and it was heartbreaking to see. We wanted to change our stay but couldn't find anything with short notice.

Great location with fantastic views of Captain Cook's Bay, a nice sized pool & a well equipped kitchen. Clean & comfortable (with fluffy towels). Short walk away from restaurants & a groceries, 40min walk to ATM. Chantal was helpful & patient when helping us arrange a hire car. Rooms are in Chantal's home so she's usually available should you have any queries. *General notice: public buses are no longer in service on Mo'orea*

Chantelle is an excellent host. She picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry, helped us contact a great tour of the island and also helped us by calling us to rent a scooter with the utmost comfort. Her house is spectacular, she has a supermarket and bank nearby. I simply felt in paradise from beginning to end, the view from the room and terrace is unbeatable, the pool is excellent to enjoy a hot day. The dogs are very friendly and the house is clean in general, it has a refrigerator just for the people who stay in your home. If I were to come back to Moorea I would definitely come back to your house, thank you very much for everything!

I loved everything at Chantal's beautiful Villa Vaiana - the room was spacious and, my God - the views of Moorea it offered from the windows were absolutely stunning! It is within walking distance to a supermarket, a great smoothie/juice selling outlet (next to Heivei Black Pearl), Hotel Kaveka which is a pickup/meeting point for many tours within Moorea, and a small beach, Pao Pai, just opposite the supermarket - I was surprised I was the only swimmer there..... A bonus for animal lovers at Villa Vaiana - the presence of adorable doggies ❤️ Would stay there again in no time!

If you're allergic to animals, there are several cats and dogs on the property (but they're kept downstairs/outside away from the upstairs rooms).

Hostess was great! Responsive and helpful with details. Location was quiet and centrally and conveniently located. There's a small, delicious restaurant at the bottom of the driveway and several others within a five minute walking distance. Views from the room and balcony were breathtaking!
