The hostel was very neat and well equipped. The owner was communicative and informative. Very pleasant conversation. We didn't make it to the diving, but recommendations for the instructor. The neighbor was a boxing trainer so feel free to ask about training, and he also has a little monkey as a pet! 80BarHostel Excellent 5

Spacious room for 2. We have everything we need.

Electricity failure and the bathroom floor is always greasy and slippery.

Nice hostel, I had a room on the top floor, very nice view. The room is large enough, the bed is not really comfy, the bathroom is good but there are some strong smells at some times, with the door closed, you don’t smell anything in the room. Location is about 10 min walk from the center, as a solo female traveller I didn’t enjoy the walk back by myself in the evening. The breakfast is ok, very basic. They do laundry service, it’s more expensive than in other places. I was told it would be ready by 9am the next day, so I gave them most of my stuff. The next day at breakfast I was told it would now be ready by 11am. And when I checked again at 11am, the answer I was given was we don’t know yet when it will be ready. If I had known that it wouldn’t be ready that early in the morning I would not have given all my bikinis and my beach towel as I had plans that day. I insisted and said I had plans so my clothes were taken to my room by 11.30am. I also asked them if they could organise a transfer as after Coron, I was going to stay a couple of days in Busuanga (1h drive from Coron), I was told to organise it with my next hostel. I knew I could have taken a Tuktuk but that would have taken forever so I wanted a van for the hassle free journey. After going to watch the sunset from the sunburn rooftop I asked the reception if it was possible to organise my transfer, the girl at the reception organised the transfer for me, the next day the van was there on time. I was very grateful for that. I don’t regret choosing this hostel but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Very helpful staff , we had to grab breakfast outside of the usual time and they agreed ! They booked for us the tuktuk for the ferry! Far from the noise from the town but it’s a quick walk to restaurants and everything (10min)

Had an amazing stay. Room number 6 had a great sea view, staff was lovely and accommodating. Very helpful with every request. Would recommend!

All the staff is really friendly and super nice only the beds are a bit to hard, and the toilets not so clean but could be better. I could stay again for sure.

They do good job only left more clean toilets and have a lockers for put the bagpacks.

It’s located in a quiet area near the city centre and the breakfast is included. All the staffs are really nice and helpful.

The toilets smells soooo bad and it was really dirty - apparently never cleaned during my stay of 3 nights.

The stay was basic, but the staff are very wonderful and always helpful. We booked a tour and a scooter with the reception and we got good prices for both. The breakfast is also wonderful, the water/tea/coffee station is also a nice addition. There is a lovely bakery around the corner and it’s a quick walk to the busy city center.

The beds weren’t very comfy (you could feel the springs), the water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low. We had a problem with drainage when we first arrived but it was quickly fixed. There is a rooster farm nearby which will definitely wake you up if you don’t bring good earplugs. The room could be upgraded with some more storage areas.

Comfortable bed with curtain and clean dorm. Delicious breakfast with many options. Easy to book tours and rent a bike with them. Pick-up from the airport available.

Rubbish in the bathroom should be collected more often.

Stayed in the room with 2 twin beds, loved the space, especially the bathroom and the large terrace where there was a drying rack for wet clothes. Free breakfast every morning was awesome and 24h coffee and tea available was really appreciated! Staff were lovely, friendly and nice which is a Philippino standard. There is a Panda supermarket right around the corner and a cellphone store where you can get sim cards, and a very affordable bakery at the end of the road. Cute cats running around the place and some giant gecko type lizards hanging around at night outside on the ceiling, super cool! The place was very clean!

Forgot to collect the room deposit when I checked out and the staff did not remind me, so if you are reading this and plan to book, set a reminder/alarm on your phone right now for check out so you don't lose money, this probably happens a lot. Only taking away stars because of the deposit situation, other than that it would be a full 100% rating for budget accommodation Water pressure in my shower was very low, but the water got hot. Roosters choocacooing starting at 2am but there are so many it became like white noise.

Well room and bathroom are quite spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. And I want to say special thank you to lady on reception she helped us a lot with everything… tours, ferry tickets and transport around the town. She was always happy and welcoming

Bed in the room was really hard.

Clean large room, large shower, good WiFi, very nice and helpful hosts. Very good value for money.

A bit dark, bed not so comfortable, dangerous high stairs going up and down. Low water stream.
