Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe neighbouring apartment had an outdoor area where guests could socialise and drink until late in the evening. For a couple of nights, they were noisy. The resort was more funky than I expected but I didn't mind that.
The calm side of the island. The beach, especially when the wind drops in late May, becomes so calm. Sunshine, blue skies, and refreshing ocean. I booked the penthouse so I could be as close to the ocean as possible, plus having a kitchen.. The front of the apartment had floor-to-ceiling windows with a fantastic view of the front with trees and glimpses of the ocean. Sunrises and friendly dogs

Finlandjust the tricycle route is not going there mainly, it is not in the main traffic road which both its PROs (quiet, less crowded) and CONs (pay more if you don't like walking), but since I had a small child who is less tolerable to walking under 29degrees, I had to take tricycle often in CHARTERED cost, 100php vs 15php. Still, the location is good if you are being sent by tricycle there because it is next to the few roads /small ALLEY which is PASSABLE by tricycle.
Highly maintained cleanliness, very accomodating chef to my child's SPECIAL DIET (food allergies), the area is exceptionally posh and quiet. You should come during less windy season like in June when it's less windy and the beach is supreme quality. SUPER big space, we like the BED SIZE and QUALITY PILLOWS, as well as beddings. They lent us glassware and utensils, so I managed to serve my daughter her breakfast daily. Plenty of storage spaces, and having own dining space (right outside your window) for SLOW mornings. The beach resort quality is exactly the same as in the PICTURES. SUPER CARING EMPLOYEES.

The hotel is beachfront and sooo private. Its like i have my own private beach. Located at a quiet side of the island but within walking distance to D’mall like 5-10 mins walk. There’s no noise whatsoever except for the sounds of the waves. And its very windy which is good otherwise it will be so hot.The hotel is so cozy and i just don’t want to go anywhere or do anything here. its so relaxing!. I spent my time reading by the beach and watch people kitesurfing. The property has 3 dogs and they are sooo cute. It has a restaurant overlooking the garden and the beach.

AustraliaThe bed wasn't as comfortable as we had hoped, with a mattress that was a bit too soft for a good night's sleep and pillows that were on the firmer side with limited options. With improved bedding, such as a firmer mattress and softer pillow choices, the stay would have been absolutely perfect.
I loved the beachfront location and the friendly, attentive staff. Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves and enjoying breakfast just steps from the sand was a highlight. The room was also very clean and spacious.

AustraliaI cant think that there was anything i didnt like.. The views were amazing.. the food was perfectly prepared. The staff were always around to help. But the little things ..like a good morning.. good night . , even a invite to join the groups in conversation was very welcoming. All in all it's a home away from home.. more than a holiday. More like catching up with old friends 🧡. I wasn't just a number. I was a part of the Aissatou family. Thank you to the. AISSATOU EXPERIENCE...
During my stay with Aissatou.. I was cared for like a family member. The staff were excellent. They were always on hand to help with anything .. my room was cleaned regularly. Thr food was perfectly cooked & presented . Both Winnie & Iza. Were the greatest host's with z good morning smile to taking the time to ask how my holidays going. My room was very comfortable & waking every morning to ocean views was incredible. I recommend Aissatou to everyone.... I'll be going back..

GhanaBed is a little harder than I'm used to. The food in the restaurant is great but a tad bit expensive. There are however several restaurants within walking distance you can eat out at.
I loved it here! Right on the beach and stunning views if you stay on the top floor. Owner is lovely and gave me a lot of recommendations. I had planned to stay for 2 just nights but I ended up adding 3 more nights.

RomaniaThe beach is indeed close, almost near the door, but the beach on that side of the island is not very suited for swimming because of the low water.
Very friendly staff, helpful, close to the center, good facilities, clean room. I would recommend. Overall very good conditions for the price.

GermanyI rebooked twice and stayed a total of 14 nights at Aissatou. The room was very comfortable with excellent wifi and a/c. But what made the stay exceptional was the owner, his wife, front office manager and their service/housekeeping staff. Everybody was very welcoming, happy, professional and eager to make their guests as comfortable as possible. The hotel is located on the quieter Bulabog Beach side of Boracay which was perfect for some work and relaxation but if you want the white beach touristy side it is only a short 10-15min walk away. Bulabog beach is a renowned kite boarding silky white beach with a lovely boardwalk and a number of friendly bars and restaurants close to the hotel. Overall a fabulous stay at Aissatou boutique beach resort.
