Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThis is an unfinished building which is under construction. So the exterior is not done and threw us off at first and took us a bit to realize it was actually there. There is also a lot of noise from the construction. This will be no issue in a few months once the construction is done. I am adding some photos from the unfinished section but note that the part you stay is fully finished and it's the upper floors that are being added. We feel like it was overpruced given the fact that the building is not done yet, on top of that we found out that a few days after our stay they lowered the price by almost half!
Very friendly host - She let us check in early and check out late and always made sure we had what we needed. The place has water boiler, fridge and rice cooker for your use. We were the only onew at the time so we had the entire place to ourselves There is a river that runs by the place so you can hear the sound of nature all day long

Iceland- it is loud during the day because of the construction - the flush in the toilet was broken and there was no toilet seat - no sink in the bathroom which is very weird - very low pressure of water - it is located 13 minutes walk from the bus station (but it is all the way uphill and it is not nice to walk there with the luggage. There is also no grab in this town) - two out of four pillows that I had in my room had many spots of mold. It is time to throw them away!!! I used the other two pillows
-Comfortable bed - I could store my luggage there before check in - hot water in the shower

PhilippinesIt was difficult to locate the place From the main road the building seems to be all under construction. The name of the place was haphazardly painted on the water tank. We were not actually sure if we went to the correct place because there seemed to be no entrance at all
The place was quiet with the sound of the stream below which was quite soothing The caretaker was very cheerful and helpful

SingaporeThe location is a bit hard to find, however it is exactly as pin pointed on Google maps, look out for the water tank with "AJJAA's Place", you will find a staircase going down. When we arrived a car was parked in front so we drove passed it, not realising the "hole" is actually the staircase. The place from the outside felt unfinished, inside it has basic facilities and rooms. This was "mid range" price when we researched prices for places to stay in Sagada. The rooms are OK just to sleep in, not to relax. It was raining when we were there so had to spent some time in the room. All rooms are equipped with own bathroom however very very basic.
The location was on the main street, however the street to AJJAA's Place was unpaved and very steep and slippery when it rains. We were by rental car and the morning we left it was raining making it a bit difficult to go up the hill. Dorothy was very friendly and helped with arranging tours, however she doesn't stay at the location so you need to contact her by mobile. All the Sagada tours are fixed prices as part of the Tourist Bureau registration you need to do when visiting Sagada.

ItalyWater pressure for hot shower is poor, quite a few insects around but that is quite common in this area. Wi-Fi was pretty slow.
Good value for money in Sagada, location is nice but just a little bit difficult to find at first, the host is very friendly and helpful. Shared kitchen is decently equipped. Shops and restaurants nearby.

PhilippinesRocky road on the way to the place. Water pressure for hot shower is very little. Requested a fan for the room but wasn’t working and we figured we really didn’t need it esp at night. The door took getting used to and we stayed on the upper level room. Only had 1 pillow per bed that my shoulder hurt since I’m a side sleeper.
Decent accommodation for when you are on a budget. Near places to eat or hang out. Very accessible via tricab or just by walking to and from places. Clean room with bathroom. The owner was accommodating esp when we had to check out late since we were leaving at 2pm although she was busy with her baby, which was fine with us.
