There was no notice that the guest has to make a deposit in cash. Communication via Booking was a bit slow. Location: the hotel is in the very center of difficult to across the street around.

As the room was clean and comfortable, it was still lacking. It has a fridge, kettle, sink, countertop and microwave, but no dishes or utensils. Just 2 cups and free coffee and tea. Some of the fixtures were in need of maintenance. So for the money I was a little disappointed.

Over all. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall the hotel is well kept and comfortable.

The reviews spoke of a fantastic breakfast. According to staff, there was a fabulous buffet pre COVID. Now guests get a disappointing plated breakfast.The neighborhood was iffy.

As far as dislikes I cannot think of anything that I didn't like about this hotel apart from the weather! But hey it can't all be perfect can it?

After a very long and arduous journey I was greeted at reception by a very warm welcome! I have stayed in probably hundreds of hotels and venues around the world but Alpa City Suites must rate in the top three! Proving that you don't have to break the bank for a very comfortable home away from home experience. The staff are perfect! Very nice, polite smiling whilst running a near perfect operation! The large bed was so comfortable set in a very well appointed and comfortable air conditioned room! The breakfast was a choice of local tastes through to more western pallets but believe me they were all very lovely served again with a welcoming morning smile! I literally cannot find fault with anything and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Locks were broken to the door. Had to be escorted each time in and out of the hotel. Dead flies on the floor. No one at front desk available during check out. No explanation of tv/ wifi or the restaurant. No menu in the room. Tv was broken. Definitely needs to be remodeled. Room did not match the photos.

The executive suite wasn't good. Gives off creepy vibes and pretty old. The towels were too old and gives off white-ish color already. The bathroom floor wasn't that clean. The cable TV didn't have a good reception. The parking space is too steep and small. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the room.

Only two towels and no wash cloths. The towels were not very absorbent. Poor water pressure in shower. The website indicated that this was a three star hotel and it appeared to be no better than any standard road side motel in the US. Everything was clean, but shabby.

The staff was very cheerful , friendly and professional. Very cool air conditioner and very good refrigerator. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet even though we are on a busy street. The water was nice and hot.

The room is poorly maintained. Rust is everywhere. Their TV is not functioning well. Their customer service and room service is crappy. There’s a lot more to complain but to summarize, almost everything.

The staff are welcoming and warm. It’s also cheap when it comes to price.

Our towels smelled like smoked ham and the air conditioner made us feel sick. It was hard to decide between being really sweaty at night and feeling like our throats were inhaling bad air. It’s an old air conditioning system the least they could do is change the filter. But yeah maybe the smoked ham smelling towels was worse for my wife who just needed to feel clean after traveling so much.
