It was raining when we arrived so we were unable to use the pool. But that’s the reality of travelling during the rainy season.

The property is located in a beautiful and quiet municipality. It is surrounded by trees which extends all the way up the mountain at the back of the property. The owner personally welcomed us, gave us a tour and introduced us to each of the staff on the property. There was music playing on a phonograph when we arrived. The place was CLEAN. The facilities new. We especially liked the mattresses and the pillows. One small touch that I appreciated was the placement of night lights in the room and in the CR.

Didn’t expect to be there during a typhoon but still had a good time!!

It was wonderful! I was surprised how beautiful the area was and how beautiful the people are! I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit San Juan and was close enough to San Fernando La Union!

My parents had the room with the double bed and the AC was a slightly noisy for light sleeper like my mom.

Therese is very pleasant and accommodating. She is a very passionate host/owner and she put a lot of thoughts on the designs, comfort and well-being of the guests. It is their private property but you will really feel at home and well taken care of - like when you visit your relatives in the province.

I feel bad when Manang and Manong have to open the gate for us even at wee hours. Perhaps remote controlled gate opener may be an option

Therese is very accommodating host, and made sure that we enjoy the most of experience in Bacnotan. I love the forest view of the room, and really quiet for us to enjoy the relaxing chirping of birds and the very green scenery around the property. The room is very nicely interior designed and well maintained. Love the room guide that provides collection of restaurants, places to visit and map that Therese has compiled.

I liked how homey and warm it feels once we arrived at the location. The ambiance is a must place to have, away from the loud noise of the city life. Spending a quick get-away to this magneficent place was such an experience. The photos you see on their page totally agrees with what will welcome you once you're there (it totally exceeded my expectations!!!) It was just like visiting your favorite Tita and Tito in the province with how Ms. Therese and her husband accomodate us. The helpers were all nice, too! Such a tranquil and a much needed leisure time! I just hoped we could stay there longer. But we'll surely comeback with longer stays, ofcourse :)

I like that it’s located somewhere quiet, away from the crowd. I also like the nature-y vibe, with birds chirping and lots of surrounding trees. The beach and restaurants are nearby. The owners are super nice and accommodating and warm.

very happy house! we felt like we were not just travelers, but guests — to awesome cool friendly hosts, and we really appreciated it! from the residence every day we went surfing to Tabok beach: a nice place for beginners where i could really improve my skills. and after the lessons there was nothing better than spending time on the house’s terrace by the pool. thank you again!

Balai benedicere is a little sanctuary of peace and shade. The owners are warm, welcoming and will do their best to make you feel at home. They have a wonderful staff so everything is there to enjoy your stay.

The owners and staff put in a great deal of effort and were very accommodating. The home cooked meals were delicious, and the natural surroundings tranquil. The pool was also perfect for the very hot days. Simply put, It is the ideal place to relax and unwind for a few days.

The property was beautiful! Very unique home with lots of art work and vintage items. It was decorated well, clean, and well maintained. The room was super comfortable and the pool was met with a scenic background of trees. Therese, Arman and the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They were so kind and made our stay very pleasant! Would definitely recommend.
