Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyClose to Nacpan Beach but far from El Nido. Not bad, just keep in mind that having a scooter makes it easier but it works totally fine with Trikes as well:) All was good! Worked perfectly
Cozy Villa, much space. Very friendly staff that got me from town by car, dropped me off at the beach and served breakfast in the morning right in the garden at my chosen time. Warm water, air con, comfy pillows. Shower gel and towels provided. Very calm and chill, cute dogs. Close to nature to relax from the hectic town

Germanysurely the place needs a renovation and more love in the details. maybe it’s a bit overpriced compared with what it offers.
we really enjoyed the location of the place, far away from loud El nido but really close to Nacpan Beach. The staff is super friendly, they arranged us a free motorcycle (it was working perfectly), they organized our pick ups (always on time) and helped us with the organization of our next part of the trip. Breakfast was also delicious. We also would like to correct some old reviews, now they offer a free hotspot at the entrance. There is no connection in the area but it’s not balili’s fault.

IrelandWhen we visited, a few roosters lived on the farm so we could hear them quite early in the morning, but that's not unusual for the Philippines and wasn't a problem for us. The water wasn't very warm, but again not a problem as its so warm outside a slightly cold shower is quite refreshing. You need a motorbike to get to the beach, but again wasn't an issue for us as the staff offered to drive us to and from the beach whenever we wanted, only paying for gas.
Overall, I had a great stay at Balili Farm. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. They collected us from the airport and as the beach is about a 30 minute walk away, they drove us to and from the beach whenever we wanted. They also have motorbikes available for anyone to use. We stayed over Christmas and they invited us to their Christmas party which was an amazing experience. The food they made was the best we had eaten in the Philippines and they truly welcomed us like a family.

AustraliaPerfect for me
Great spot away from El Nido and close to Nacpan, without Nacpan prices. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Providing a scooter was incredibly helpful if you wanted to go to the beach, Duli or back to El Nido.

NetherlandsThe only wifi is the staff’s mobile hotspot in the reception area, which they’re happy to offer at any time. But if you need to do remote work it’s not so convenient/fast. But they said they’re working on getting actual wifi soon. But still I’d 100% recommend this place.
This is such a beautiful place! We love including Nacpan Beach in our El Nido trips. The garden here is so charming and the staff is wonderful. Nice strong shower and AC. We could use their motorbike for free and the complementary breakfast is great with fresh fruit and everything. And it’s super affordable.

PhilippinesThe rooms were not clean, they were full of insects such as big and small spiders and cockroaches too. What's worst? We found a mice trying to climb the wall of the room. It was so hard to sleep knowing that you're surrounded by them. The car service that was offered wasn't that convenient, it was late to pick us up for most of the time. We asked to be picked up by 6pm and we were picked up at 8pm while we wait in the dark at the drop off point of the beach near the farm. The pick up service when you arrive at the terminal is free, but when you check out, they will charge you PHP500 for dropping you off at the terminal despite them knowing how far the terminal is. This should at least be included already in the price that we paid for. It just seemed like the owner just wanted a quick solution to have the car filled up with gasoline since it doesn't seem like they really get a lot of guests. The excuse that they always make for being late in picking us up was that they had to pick up or drop off a guest, but the entire 4 days, there were no other guests! How could there be when they only have 3 usable rooms while the 4th room is occupied by the staff. The breakfast is ok, not bad, but the 3rd day the sugar jar was already filled with ants which means that it wasn't really stored properly. No water bottle provided contrary to what was said in the description. It's hard to get dinner because they do not serve any even if you pay, restaurants are 1hr away from the hotel and you have to pay another PHP500 for being dropped off and probably coming back as well, but that's understandable. It's just that it wasn't as available as it should be for the ONLY guests they have.
Just the staff there, they were friendly and warmly welcomed us. They even felt bad for the inconveniences that we experienced in the hotel.

CanadaThe pictures uploaded for this accommodations are very deceiving. BaliIi Farm is neglected and in need of repair. I did read through a few of the negative reviews prior to booking but I still thought I would give it a chance. After staying here, I highly recommend finding another location. I can genuinely say that I am not a person to write a review, but I hope to help the next traveller have a more enjoyable experience. I hope the owners are able to take this feedback, as well as others, and make a positive change.
The staff were welcoming and helpful.

United StatesWe really loved it here, such a peaceful place to relax and unwind. The Bungalows are cute and clean. Beds were comfortable and the mosquito net was useful. AC worked well. Bathroom actually had warm water which is rare around here. Power outages are normal in El Nido but they had a back up generator so we were unaffected. Note that WiFi in these more remote areas are still being developed and the owners are working on getting better access. They allowed us to use their phone to tether and that helped us handle some things we needed to get done so we were very thankful for that. Location is great as you're near several amazing beaches. The customer service here was excellent. Staff were so nice and and helpful. They even offer a complimentary scooter rental should you need it. Breakfast was amazing and much appreciated. Will definitely be back one day. Highly recommend!

United StatesMy fiancee and I showed up three hours earlier before our check-in time, and they welcomed us without asking for any additional charges. They welcome us with complimentary drinks and fruits and give us a motorcycle bike for our transportation service. They also give us unlimited coffee and again no additional charges. The owner and staff are exceptional and will definitely go back and check in again for sure. There's so many words to say good words, actually. See you next year guys.

United StatesThe wifi wasn't great but this is an issue for most of this area, only nit great if you need to work but hopefully you're not traveling for wifi! They helped by letting us use their Hotspot so we could book flights etc. The power would cut out but they have a backup generator so it was fine, it's very rural and remote so it's all part of the experience. .
This is a great stay on a quiet cashew grove. The Bungalows are made of bamboo and are modest but very comfortable. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The roosters were quite loud but it's a farming area so is to be expected. They offered an excellent breakfast and were located close to some great beaches. They also offer a scooter for free, just pay gas and have a pickup and drop-off service from El nido Airport
