The hostel has the beach in front Great, but it has the busy road at the back so it's noisy. There is only 1 toilet and 1 shower for 14 people. That is not enough. A guy and girl were sleeping together in the same bed. They were making noises and shaking the bed. I had to tell them to stop.

The hostel is right by the beach, the garden is nice.

It was far away from the main area (Cloud9), also there was only one bathroom sahring with all the shared bedrooms.

It has an amazing beach view, also there are surf and island services where you pay for the rental of the surfboard and for the boat use. It is an amazing experience. The staff is amazing and they have food and beverage just inside the hostel, so you can relax easily.

The staff was great. I stayed in the dorm, and I can hear the waves from your bed and see the sunrise when you open your eyes. The environment is beautiful, the bed is confi, you have lockers in the bedroom for leaving your stuff, the Aircon works well

Shakabrah is a paradise! It is a beachfront hostel with cosy and clean rooms. The sunrise view is really peaceful but the beach at night is also so serene, soooo worth your money. Its also one of the the cheapest dorm compared to other hostel in GL. The food and coffee they served were delicious (shout out to Micheal!) and also affordable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The area is located in Sta Fe where you can feel the Island life with fewer tourist, but also accessible and near GL center where you can party at night. I initially booked 2 nights but ended up coming back for the beach view :) and its worth it 10/10

Pls BEWARE of their longterm resident named TAKKI, she's a kleptomaniac. (her photo uploaded below) Ninang (the receptionist) do not accommodate me properly upon arrival, always yells to other staff which is kinda annoying, will not accommodate you even if you complains that something was stolen. Just dont talk to her she's not reliable at all. She is the frontliner yet she is picky with clients. Yosh is waaaaay better! and Yosh is the best!

Location is superb! Don't like the crowd? Just stay here and woke up in paradise💯. The owner is really kind and easy to talk to. Kudos to the staff Yosh, Michael, Ate Nori and Kennedy they will help you with all your needs. Will surely go back here.

He didn't let my friend who drove all the way from General Luna to have a look to the place cause she wanted to book a bed there, and he said you can enter only if you're guest. otherwise you need to order something from a bar. that was very rude. and you need to pay additional 100php to have a blanket (what?), toilet paper roll(WHAT?!) shampoo and soap, so i just left the next day in the morning

The place and common area are very nice, you can just wake up and swim in the beach, so beautiful but the owner/host was disappointing and rude

This place looks like a postcard! Staff is really nice and helpful. I highly recommend the trying the food. Dada is a great chief! Best value for money in the whole of Siargao! 10/10 without a blink

Such a good place to chill, the beach is few steps outside the hostel I loved it here. Good breakfast, keep in mind there is 1 bathroom here but for it’s very ok:) I had really pleasant time there
