the hotel is fairly new so expect that the facilities are still clean and well maintained. I really love the helpfulness of the staff!

I liked how central it was but also away from the main highstreet so it was quiet at night. The breakfast was great

The breakfast hours could have done with being slightly later on a weekend as it meant getting up fairly early. I did also find mushrooms growing in my room

Very nice small hotel. Perfect for us! The room was very clean when we arrived. Facilities are just enough for what we need... clean toilet and bathroom, nice comfy beds and pillows, working tv, strong wifi and aircon. 😉 Alfie, the one who received us for the first time is very friendly and nice person. All of the other staff are also friendly, respectful and helpful. Location is absolutely perfect! close to everything.. restaurants, bars, loading area of tours, stores, etc. Highly recommended!

The place is simple, clean and cozy. The location is great and the staff is the most welcoming in the world.

All the rooms are on the first floor with the road passing underneath. Bit noisy from very early in the mornings. Whole front of the room is glass and did not keep out much sound.

The room itself is not very functional: nowhere to hang things and nowhere to dry them after the beach, no bedside lamps, the room is constantly stuffy. The full wall window looks nice, but in fact because of it you can hear a very noisy road nearby, and it's light all night because of the lights on the shared terrace. Also, it is not very private as there will be other guests walking past your window all the time. The water in the room has a bad musty smell and brackish taste, we stayed in other apartments in El Nido and the water was fine there. Poor wifi signal. The house rules say cleaning once every 3 days, but we stayed in the room for 3 nights and no one cleaned it

Beehive El Nido, was overall a wonderful stay. Located one street away from lively streets of C.Hama and Serena St. Its street is fairly quiet compared to the two mentioned above and is lined up with tour guide businesses, sari sari stores, and few food spots. It is also adjacent to a BPI bank. The office is on the main level while the rooms are on the second floor. They offer complimentary breakfast (7am-9am) just a few steps from the office although, service is a little slow so make sure to come early if you have tours lined up but it was pretty good food. The room was overall nice and clean, but there was some dirt on the black out curtain which I thought was very obvious coming in. The room door is a sliding door from the balcony. The room is powered by your room key which you put in the slot. There was thankfully AC with a remote. There was some complimentary water bottles provided on check in. The tv is a smart tv but had a rough time watching stuff because the wifi was poor and videos kept buffering. Unfortunately, the WiFi was not good, especially when everyone was back from their excursions so we found ourselves just using data majority of our stay. There was a town wide blackout for a few hours one night (1-3 hrs). It didn’t seem like they had a generator but the power came back a few hours later. You can hear the noise from the outside since the front wall is glass/sliding door but we didn’t mind it. There was a carnival or people playing carnival games down the street which played music until late night so beware if you’re sensitive to sound. There was a good amount of storage space provided but no drawers. I wish there was more stools in the room (there was one) since we couldn’t sit on the bed coming back being wet from the rain/excursion/beach. The bathroom was spacious but no shower curtain so the room got pretty wet when showering. The shower pressure was nice and there was a good amount of hooks for towels or things to dry.
