I wish there's more variety and choices maybe there more but I did not have a look properly 😕. The owner was an very helpful and respectful person.

The beach was beautiful, such an amazing spot. The accommodation was comfortable and directly on the beach. Very tropical.

The common space could be a bit updated, food could be better. We really found annoying the wifi, which keeps cutting off and you have to pay for it. We also found annoying the car park fee. It should be included.

Right on the Sugar beach, nice spacious cottages with A/C and the most comfortable beds.

Dinner was good, but it looks like the kitchen was understaffed. It took a while for dinner to be served.

Accommodating staff; beach front location. Also, the owner was so kind to offer us an additional accommodation at a discounted price when we informed him that we forgot to book a room for our driver.

Rooms and service very average. What saves this from a lower rating is the excellent food and reasonably priced food. Sugar Beach is hard to get to and nothing special.

The bathroom needs maintenance. We had to pay a parking fee and there's no free Wifi. But they have Peso Wifi Vendo. I think, I paid 20pesos for 5 hours.

The staff are very helpful and attentive. There's a faucet to wash sand off your feet upon entry to your room. The room is big and has a porch with a huge table. The Beach is amazing and stone free.

The resto area is gloomy and the tables need replacing. But the food is good. Plenty of other restos in adjacent resorts.

Great location, excellent food, comfortable room. Its easy to get there these days, no boat ride needed, just drive to parking area and begin your relaxation. The big sandy beach with no rocky bottom is safe and excellent for swimming for the whole family.

Staff and owner were very friendly, accommodating and indeed hospitable. Since we decided on a very short notice to upgrade our room, the owner was very generous to give us a reasonable price. True to their words, their guest’s health is also their concern. Place is great for relaxation and quiet at night hence we got our needful rest before the year ended. Truly, Big Bamboo has a big heart for its guests!

we went for island hopping and we were too far from where we went.

We had a great time! Owner was friendly as well as the staffs. Our requests were granted. We came at a good time coz there was no crowd at all, almost private for us. Low season at that time (went last May)!

Outdoor beach furniture looking a old and tired, with no new beach chairs for example. We were a group of ten, but there were only eight beach chairs available. Restaurant was ok, but again the bamboo furniture is dated and needs some upgrading. AC in the room worked ok though it was a bit noisy, but tolerable. Room towels were old and in poor condition. WiFi is very slow, but this is a remote location.

Great location on a beautiful white sandy beach with calm water for swimming and lots of shade trees. Good food, but service was a little slow at times. Room was comfortable though decorations within the room are looking a little tired. Next to a number of other resorts, all connected with a shady walkway to all the restaurants, which was great. A good place to chill out and relax.
