How guest reviews work

You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewThe early morning jog around the grounds is invigorating, with the clear, refreshing air. We spent our time relaxing on the balcony and watching the steam rise from the volcano, feeling as if you're floating in a sea of clouds as the mist engulfs the building and countryside. The dramatic red sunset is breathtaking, and the thunder and lightning at night are like nature's firework display. As for creature comforts, the apartment was well-equipped with a cozy bed and sofa, a smart TV, and a microwave and kettle for snacks. There is a 7/11, Pizza Hut, and a bank at ground level. Both sides of the complex boast shopping arcades with various shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. Across the road, you'll find even more dining options, and a short walk takes you to the amusements at Skyranch. Overall, it was a really enjoyable and unforgettable stay.
Wifi could be slow at times but that is to be expected in the Philippines. We came to Tagaytay to escape emails and phone calls so it wasn't an issue for us. If you are someone who wants to be plugged in 24/7 buy mobile data but as this is a mountain range that may not work.

Verified reviewFirstly, the view is breathtaking. You could stare out from the balcony for hours. The location is great. Shops, restaurants and cafes surround the 5 tower blocks. 10+ minute walk to Sky ranch. The apartment itself has all the amenities you could need including smart TV, WiFi, rice cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and a large table to eat dinner on.
The check in process is not as simple as a hotel. Took approx 30 mins, but overall was fine. The shower pressure was low. Would be nicer if the water came out faster. The WiFi was on and off. The majority of the time it would work but when you settle down to watch Netflix and it took over an hour to load, it was annoying.

Likewise for water, there is no competition. Add to this Tagaytay is in the mountains hence wifi can be sporadic and water pressure can be low. We share your frustrations on this matter but this is the Philippines and complaints are ignored by the people who control the companies and government who are often the same. We do as much as we can to improve our services but unfortunately we do not run the government or utility providers. Water pressure and wifi is an issue faced by all properties in Tagaytay not only ourselves. The check in process can at times be slow due to the volume of people who check in as Tagaytay is a popular location.

I booked and paid for the room and after 6 hours driving we arrived at the apartment the property management said our booking was canceled without my permission. We were outside on the road for 7 hours to find a room to stay. Its was a long public weekend in Philippines all rooms were full booked, we end up got a very small very old apartment (this was under grate of my stardard for hotel room),and checked in at 9pm. This was a real nightmare for our holiday. Its ruined my holiday in Tagaytay.
Incorrect you made a reservation with an invalid card, you were informed of that fact weeks prior to your check in date. You then rebooked and we were issued a virtual card however by the time the virtual card arrived the apartment was booked via another site. We offered you an alternative apartment, a change of date or free cancelation. You failed to reply to any communication from ourselves or the booking site. You failed to arrive with in the specified check in hours and again failed to contact us. We were informed by the booking site that you had been relocated. Perhaps if you had taken the time to read the numerous emails or responded to our numerous calls and the attempts by the booking site to contact you your holiday would not have been ruined. At all times we complied with the terms and conditions of the booking and the booking site. Guests are reminded that when they make a booking they are deemed to have read, understood and agree to all the terms set out on the booking site and with ourselves. We accept no liability for guests failure to do so.

Verified reviewI like the view from the bedroom. They also provide bath towels and dental kit and also tissue. The price is very affordable for the place like this.
Honestly the place is really good. What we didn't like is the pillows smells bad. Seems like they haven't change the cover for a long time. What we did is we covered it with bath towels so we won't smell it. And also the couch same smell as the pillows. It also indicates here when I booked that the unit is located at tower 1 which we prefer coz it's closer to the pool area. But they gave us a unit located on tower 5. So we decided not to swim anymore.

If you had a preference for a particular tower we would have provided it subject to availability. All the sheets, covers etc. are freshly laundered and ironed prior to guest arrival and each apartment is deep cleaned for health and safety reasons. This was the case for your stay. Please accept our apologies if the organic linen spray was not to your liking.

Thank you for your comments. We provide internet but as a Filipino you are well aware of the issues with internet speed in the Philippines which are outside of our control. Bed comfort is subjective we appreciate that as you are on the large size you may have found the bed uncomfortable for two and likewise the bathroom to be cramped. We provide a smart TV with a wide selection of content. This being the Philippines many people prefer to stream their own content rather than watch cable which may not have the content they like. The parking price is clearly stated on our listing which we assume you read prior to booking due to the fact that you asked us to reserve a space and agreed on the price. It is actually cheaper than public parking. If you considered the price to be high you could have made alternative parking arrangements else where.

Had to pay extra to be use pool or any other facility. Security won't let you in to reception on arrival unless you already know the room number. The shower did not have any hot water, it was an electric shower with a plug, this means there is a fault in the thermostat and or heater element. When reported the agent said that as water came out of the shower that it worked. Ignoring a fault on an electrical appliance that involves water is frankly dangerous. Also who wants cold showers every day.
We provide service apartments we do not provide additional services which are not operated by us. If you read our listing it clearly states that there is a charge for using clubhouse facilities including the pool. It is common in the Philippines for security purposes that if you can not provide ID you can not enter a building. Prior to arrival you were sent full details including name, phone number and email of our client services manager who would assist you on arrival. You were also provided with directions and the apartment number. We accept no responsibility if you fail to read our listing or emails or fail to contact us with issues. There is no problem with the water heater it is programmed to deactivate if the temperature is set to a excessive temperature. You set it to almost boiling point. As you can see from our previous reviews no one has mentioned issues with the shower.

Elevator traffic is the worst. They could have built a bigger one to accommodate the whole building, considering that it’s such a huge tower. Since we booked last minute, we got a room on the 21st floor. And aside from the traffic from the elevator, the elevator itself appeared so unstable that triggered my anxiety and had us transfer to a hotel nearby. We just stayed for 1 night instead of two that we booked. I suggest that you get a room in a lower floor and plan ahead! Another issue was toiletries. If you’re planning to stay here, make sure to bring your own. I understand that this is not a hotel and room service isn’t expected but i was hoping at least to get new sets of toothbrush. Although towels and shampoo were provided, they gave us opened / unboxed toothbrushes. :(

Verified reviewexcellent location. Close to the restaurants but there is not so much to do in the evening! I would recommend it for a day trip. It is easy accessible and busses from and to Manilla stop like 1 minute walking away from the property.
I am a remote worker and i picked it because of the Internet on Location! But it was like non existing at all so that blew all my business appointments.

As a remote worker I am sure you aware that the Philippines offers poor internet infrastructure compared to Holland and elsewhere. The location is also in a mountainous region and can be impacted by storms. You will also understand that we are not an ISP and can not influence the service of the duopoly that provides internet facilities in the Philippines. You mention our excellent location and rated our cleanliness as 10. These are the services we are responsible for and we are pleased that you were satisfied with them. Long wait in the elevator
Thank you for your comments. The elevator is manged by the property manager and not by us. On the weekends we tend to be very busy and that may result in a longer wait. The issue has been raised with the property manager.
