One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at!! The common areas are amazing, the dinners are some of the best food I ate in the Philippines. We did the morning sunrise hike which I highly recommend, we napped in the hammocks after! The cooking class was also a huge highlight and the handwritten recipes were such a nice touch. It is quite far from the main area so would recommend getting a scooter for the day which is super cool

Chill area, amazing vibes, crazy diner

Nothing, I would suggest you rent a scooter at the port to get there - will be easier to explore the island from there then. Otherwise bus gets there really easily too. :)

I loved the relaxed, homely feel. Group dinners & breakfasts were absolutely amazing - thank you! Plenty of fun organised activities but also a lovely communal space to chill. Staff were amazing too!

    Nothing! It was great.

Everything was just perfect. I loved the place, the staff and the food. Family dinner are excellent maybe the best food tried in Philippines. Jhaneth the host was so special and made me feel at home. It’s the perfect accommodation in Bohol, very close to the main attractions on the island. I will come back for sure!

This place is great and I really enjoyed my stay, but it is definitely not for everyone. If you look at the photos and read the description then you should know exactly what you are getting into. Cold nature shower, outdoors, no ac, etc. Staff was very kind. The included breakfast was yummy and so is the family dinner if you chose to participate. They have a small little shop with some snacks on property which is nice. The location is out of the main tourist area, but that’s one reason I really liked it. There is a bus you can take from the main town out to the hostel that is cheap and easy enough to navigate. It is great if you can ride a bike or can find someone who will drive you around, but if not, they do offer tours and tuktuk services. I stayed in both room types. Upstairs is open air, a covered deck, with mattresses on the floor. More comfortable than I expected but it was full when I was there so a little bit cramped. When I extended I moved to the room with the hanging beds. It is enclosed and has an en-suite. I thought the hanging beds were super cool and I was glad I got to try it out. The seating/common space was large. Many hammocks, chairs, hanging benches. The dinners really brought everyone together. Most people staying opted in for that which was really great. Had a nice stay and would recommend this to anyone who is remotely interested. I was on the fence about it, but I’m so glad I chose to stay here!

A really nice and clean hostel with lovely staff who are willing to awnser all your questions and help with planning (day)trips or activities. Social hostel, but also chill. Really nice brekkie and diner, there is also a good cooking class where you learn how to make traditional dishes.

Words can't fully express how much I love this place. Even after experiencing a scooter accident during my stay, I received exceptional care from the staff—especially from Fede and Renne, who truly felt like angels, helping me recover in no time. The entire team here is incredible, always ready to assist with a warm heart. Everyone I met was so kind, making this the best hostel I've ever stayed in. I genuinely miss my time there.

A very special hostel in the heart of Bohol. Location is amazing, in the hills. Value for money is exceptional. The staff are so kind. The family dinner is 200 pesos and easily some of the best food we have had in the Philippines. It is magic to go to sleep listening to the crickets and wildlife and the rain on the roof and waking up to the chickens. Loads of chilling/social areas. Breakfast tasty. Thank you to all the staff, we hope we will be back one day

We absolutely loved this hostel - amazing atmosphere and beautiful nature location with the dorm room open plan, lovely to hear the rain and jungle sounds at night. The ladies running the hostel are amazing - so friendly and helpful. Bike rental was easy and they offer breakfast daily which was great, and the family dinner every night was exceptional.

Only problem we faced was the very long and frequent power cuts! I think this is an island wide problem so not the hostels fault but it was annoying.

This place is amazing ! The lifestyle here is very close to nature, without compromise on coziness and cleanliness. There are hammocks in the common area, hanging beds in one of the dorms, a deck to practice yoga or sip your drink while looking at the coconut farm, open air showers,… The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Chickens, dogs and cats move around freely. Nice breakfasts included, lemongrass tea and instant coffee available for free all day, and social vegan buffet dinners for 200 pesos. Amazing sites to explore around the island with the good quality scooters of the hostel, and Juan even teaches first-timers! The place is sort of open air, so dorms don’t get stuffy, but since there are roofs everywhere you can chill comfortably even on rainy days. Thank you Renée, Juan and the team, I’ll sure be back if come back in the area!

Nothing, I extended my stay because I felt so good in this peaceful paradise.
