How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewGreat host! Very nice and quiet place, the room I've booked was small but I had a great sleep, bed was comfortable, additionally there is a small kitchenette where u can have tea or caffee anytime you want. Great stay!
Location is a bit remote but it's not a problem if you have a scooter or other form of transportation.

Verified reviewKhloe's Serenity Guesthouse was our best accommodation in the Philippines, and one of the best guesthouses we've stayed at in all of Southeast Asia. The rooms are efficient and clean with good use of space and plenty of room to store your bags. Shared bathrooms are kept very clean as well. But the family who owns this guesthouse is what makes it really standout. They are so kind and welcoming, will take good care of you and make you feel like friends. The village itself is also nice to walk around. We did not rent a motorbike, which did limit us a little bit, but they helped arrange a private tour of Bohol at a good price for us.

Verified reviewA beautiful and charming place to spend a few nights. The homestay has a lot of character and is set in a peaceful, relaxing environment. The Bohol countryside is absolutely stunning, and the nearby village offers plenty of affordable local restaurants. The owner and her husband are truly lovely people — warm, kind, and very welcoming. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Bohol.

Verified reviewI can recommend everyone when visiting Bohol to come to this place. The Lady takes care of everything washing clothes, recommends things to do, sometimes when you are in need of it gives you food without even asking and even cleans the dishes, she is such caring kind soul and I'm very thankful that I decided to come there. Everything is clean and working without problems, the place itself is beautiful and the Wifi was very stable as well. It's a good place to talk with other guests aswell. You can even rent a motorbike there. For this price I never had a better experience before because of that I extended my stay there and I will definitely come back.

Verified reviewThe lady was very helpful. She was always there. She dedicate her time to the job. The room was small but clean and enough size just for myself. I slept listening sounds of crickets and waken up by rosters. It was built just two years ago. So clean. It was about 1h 20- 1h40 by bike from the tagbilaran pier. I’ve heard the road is better if I take the one go through balilihan than loboc , from the port to here.
They don’t have hot shower but the lady made hot water and put that in bucket and we deluted with water. So it was very good temperature water. I tried Philippine style shower hahaha

Verified reviewThe place is so nice! It was basic but all you need. The owner and her husband are lovely, they helped us a lot when we needed some help and she could tell us a lot of recommendations of everything to do. Would highly recommend to go here if you want to see the chocolate hilss.
The shower had low water pressure, it was hard to get my shampoo out. The road to the place was a bit hard for beginners on a scooter, but you will learn fast enough :)

Verified reviewThe property is beautiful, in the middle of coconut trees. But Odelia is the star of the show! She is a fantastic host and a great cook (breakfast and dinner). She also bought a ball for our kids to play in the garden. She took us to watch the fireflies at night. She gave us a ton of touristic recommendations, along with renting near-new scooters. Last, she arranged transportation to and from the house. A 5 star host!

Verified reviewThe best place we’ve stayed in the Philippines! The owner is really friendly with great English and looks after you as much as she can(even has English tea!). The room itself and the facilities are all very clean and are great value for money. We saw that some people complained about the bamboo huts not being noise proof which is true, but it doesn’t really matter and they’re building a new set of concrete ones. Only stayed for one night but we’d love to come back!

Verified reviewLovely stay, Odelia guest house is in a peaceful place, in the forest but close to the Batuan centre. You will find restaurants, shops lot of things and some activities such as people playing basketball or tennis during the night, really nice! Odelia is so kind, always helping and check if we need something, giving tips and recommendations. We were supposed to stay just 2 nights and finally booked 4 nights. Odelia prepared dinner for us, delicious! Lovely stay, highly recommended!

Verified reviewVery cute Guest House at the end of a small street so only trees as a neighbour. Quiet, calm and peacefull place to enjoy the beauty of Bohol. Perfect position cause its in the middle of the island, easy to reach different areas. The owner Odelya is such a lovely lady with a big heart. I really enjoyed my time there, highly recommended!

Verified reviewHonestly, it’s probably the cleanest, most welcoming and homely place I’ve stayed at in the Philippines. The owner is just the sweetest—she takes care of you like a loving mom, making you feel right at home. The location is also perfect! It’s in a peaceful area, yet all the sights are within an hour’s reach. Plus, you can rent motorbikes directly from her, which makes exploring super easy. Such a wonderful stay—I’d come back in a heartbeat!
The walls are not really soundproof
