Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe cockerels next door need cooking, too many too loud. The inside of the huts could be cleaner. Simple can be clean also.
Love the bamboo huts and experiencing the local way of living.

CanadaLOUD. Didn’t sleep well. I had read the reviews about farm sounds and having lived on farms I thought this would be charming. Most farms do not have 20 roosters crowing and competing with one another day and night. They also do not have the dogs barking and howling in packs on and off all night. Unless you are a very deep sleeper this is not the place for you! There were cabanas deeper set into the property that may be quieter (I was right at the entrance and could hear all the neighbourhood conversations, traffic and also smell burning plastic all night and woke up with a sore throat). Cute spot but you need to be a deep sleeper to enjoy.
The little cabanas are adorable and cozy. The fan only option was quite fine and didn’t bother me one bit. The bed was cozy. Onsite breakfast (one fried egg, two toast, instant coffee) was convenient. Wifi worked well at reception (at the back of the property).

United StatesI booked got conformation, then got told the place was booked with no availability to stay. Had to get a taxi late at night to find another place. Employees told us the owner knew he had overbooked but refused to change the status on no rooms available.

Czech RepublicI don't mind that it's old but the issue is that the inside of the cottage is dirty. I had to clean the bathroom by myself, we had to buy our own toilet paper, no drinking water provided, only 2 electricity sockets, the mattress was musty, the bed in bad condition, the entrance door broken... that are just few things. It is a very expensive rural experience, villa is not the right name. Also the chicken farm around is very noise at night and our motorbike was completly full of chicken poop in the morning. We were the only guests as apparently are all the other villas broken.
The lady at the reception was very nice! Wi-Fi was perfect. All people were nice.

United StatesWhen we arrived the first thing I noticed was the pathway to get to the reception is dangerous and not well maintained. I even cut my arm open because the pathway is so close to a wire fence. There was no electricity or water due to an outage. We couldnt charge our phones, use the internet, use the bathroom or take showers. The room is open air and mosquitos and other bugs are allowed free entry. The owner and receptionist are rude. There is no redeeming quality regarding this place. There are many places you can stay closer to town with AC, hot showers, no bugs that are a similar price. The owner doesn't care about the property or being a responsible business owner otherwise they would maintain it better. I saw no garden. You would be better off staying in a tent.
There was nothing to like

FranceThe hotel is located right next to a chicken farm with a lot of noise all the night especially around 4am. Our room was located at the back of the hotel, so we needed to cross all the room or little houses to reach ours. The facilities aren't great with little privacy for the other peoples in the rooms and the paths between them almost not built. The room wasn't clean and the bed wasn't comfy at all, with next to no sheets available, and almost no furniture. The bathroom was okay. but the water was taking time to heat, and the pressure was too low. The WiFi is horrible, and this is pretty bad considering there's almost no public wifi outside and the coverage for cellular data is pretty bad on Palawan. And a lot of the small things, like the door wasn't closing properly, the AC and fan was doing a lot of noise, etc. We spent a week there, and was regretting it since day 1.
