The owner doesn’t like trees and has chopped off several old growth trees, now it’s quite barren there. Especially compared to other places next door. It was very noisy because of parties in the property just behind the hut. The door creaks insanely loud, and you can hear bathroom sounds from the other hut. Very nasty toilet seat, staff seems unhappy, owner is a strange person to say the least. Dangerous contraption behind the door, a bucket filled with stones and dirt leaning on top a shelf. Haven’t tried the food, because the owner recommended other places.

Great, because I immediately booked something else, so we could stay somewhere else during the daytime. Lovely construction ongoing on site. The bungalow itself is quite nice, though.

I could sit at the Beach bar reclining area all day, so comfortable. Very quite, few other guests. Right on the beach, peacfull. good food. It was my first stay without A/C and the fan made it as cool as I needed it. Excellent WIFI

Not much on the menu, and a bit overpriced. Can't get coffee until 7:30am, ended up going next door for coffee. Generator wasn't running on Sunday when there was a scheduled power outage. Overall the place is nice

Two rooms booked but only one ready.. It was very difficult entering the compound with a large vehicle because of the animal enclosure.

Lovely traditional cottages! Very quiet and peaceful, located close to the beach and to all the other resorts. Friendly staff and owner… awesome Star Link internet access and could comfortably stream and use video conferencing for work!

This is a little gem! It’s on the beach, with traditional beach huts, great food and excellent internet (star link)! It has some Belgian beers - a welcome relief from Sam Miguel :-)… it’s also close to the other bars and restaurants on sugar beach…

The stuff give me a Kind of feeling I'm Not wanted there. The smallest things Looks like Hügel problem. They were Not able to call a Tricyle Driver to fix the time for departure. I had booked a Tour in advance to Danjucan Island and try to organize a Transfer. The try to offer me a seperat boot Transfer, but this was in included in my tour, waitress give me a paper to write down my order.... Finally the Swiss owner was absent, and all of the staff try to relax as much as possible.

The location at Sugar Beach is nice and quiet.

No A/C so nights can get a bit stuffy. Not a lot of beach chairs, no tables.

We tried the curry chicken and it was excellent. Breakfast meals were also quite good. The onsite bar is frequented by many interesting local foreigners at night. We liked the bed mosquito net and also the separate lockable room cabinet for storing our valuables.

The beach was kinda littery maybe because it's raining for the past few days. The foods were also pricey although it's given as the place was secluded.

Such a laidback experience. If you wanna break-free from work it's such a good spot to bond with your loved one

First there is the way how to get there. Its a nightmare. No signs at all. You have to ask locals and most of them do not even know where it is. You end up there through muddy pathways. Second. The bungalows themselves. They are NOT cheap ( I paid 2000 Pesos finding out later that they sell it through their webpage for 400 Pesos less ). There is no aircon, no hot water, no amenities. Third. You MUST eat there as there is no other chance. Small portions with a quiet high price topped by a breakfast ( 2 eggs, some bacon and 2 bread ) for 350 Pesos. And finally there is a "Parking Guy" jumping out and charges you 150 Pesos ( 50 for the day and 100 for the night ).

Nice bungalows from the look.
