Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandService is something to improve, people are good willing but they are missing some process I guess and the result is lack of reliability: Orders at the restaurant were not going through, slow delivery of food, we had to ask multiple times towels or to clean the room. Cab service/golf cart instead was a nice service and always on time and reliable.
Location is really spectacular, and resort villas are also nice.

Germany- Unfortunately we booked an economy room for which we paid about 140 Euro per night. However, the room was very very basic. We only had one(!) plug and no cabinet. The room was clean, but had just wood windows, which did not protect us good against mosquitos coming in. There insect nets infront of the windows, but they were damaged. However, It should be noted that the higher prized rooms looked much much better!:) - There was only electricity between 10-12am. and 6pm and 6am. while this is perfect fine to safe some energy/ money, we would not expect that for the prize range of the hotel. That fact in combination with the mentioned one plug made it also kind of difficult to load some of our devices. - The location is far away from the city area. the resort offers a shuttle until 5pm. after that you have to pay for the shuttle service. - The prizes for food are overpriced whereas the food was „okay“. We found better restaurants in El Nido, which were also cheaper. It seems like that the hotel takes advantage our their „Monopol“ due to remoteness, because it is hard/ expensive to get to other places. - Some pool equipments where kind of old To summarize, we enjoyed our stay but for the equipment the currently is overprized. I‘m sure that this accommodation with a little investment from the owners als lower prizes would be a real gem in El Nido! :)
- The location is fairly remote and chill - Amazing sunset view - The stuff is really friendly and helped us a lot - The beach area and the jetty look pretty - The higher priced rooms look good

FranceWe came with our own car. There was no indication on how to get into the resort. The final stretch of the road was a bit tricky especially after heavy rains.

United StatesThe owner talked nice but was stingy with any fixes. We got stuck in town one night waiting on them to pick us up, waited for over an hour, the one driver didn’t want to call the owner because they were in bed, it was 9:30! Crazy owner still charged us full price! Never Again!
No TV, very spotty Wi-Fi unless in the restaurant. No hot water in sink or shower, only in separate tub. Hated having to rely on a single driver to take us or pick us up in town. Road was sooo rough and so far out , you have to only go by their golf cart, hope you don’t get stuck!

United StatesChristmas Eve dinner - appreciated the buffet, but also wished resort could have offered the choice to order a la carte.
Breakfast - really appreciated that breakfast was included. They offered both Filipino style and English breakfast choices. Location - a little tricky to reach the resort due to it being more private/remote. But honestly, worth the extra logistics because the resort's privacy and view are spectacular! Staff - absolutely amazing! They were so willing to meet our requests, so polite and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home.

Hong Kongthey have stray dogs running around the property which obviously can be dangerous as they can carry diseases and bite. i lost one of my shoes and hotel management offered no sympathy nor solutions to my situation. instead they simply blamed the dogs and me for leaving the shoes by the door. I planned on wearing my shoes for the expeditions that I’d booked. I resorted to renting shoes for each expedition. overpriced, food can use work, the remote location, the one plug, etc. all the negative things mentioned before about this property are all so so true. overall the place needs investment.

CanadaIt's hard to find the resort when you get here because it's far from the road and you can only get there by golf cart. We didn't have a local sim and there is no wifi around the meeting point they give for pickup (McDonald's) so it was impossible to contact them. A kind security guy at vanilla beach helped us and called them for us. But was a little stressful... Also, it's a bit far from everything and it comes with pros and cons. Site is perfect because of that, but after 10pm they close the gate on the way here so you can't get a shuttle and have to walk on the beach to go back. It's 20mins and not that bad, but when the tide is high it's a bit tricky. Didn't find it thaaat bad, but I think it's important to let people know cause it can be hard for some people.
The site is absolutely beautiful. View is breathtaking. Staff was wonderful, special thanks to Tata, Nice and LDG (spelled as it's heard, sorry about that!). Great food at the restaurant. Would recommend anytime. There is no electricity except between 18h and 5am and 10 am to 12h, but it's easy to live with that honestly. The only thing is it gets a little hot around 6am in the room cause the AC stops. Still a very comfy and clean room though!

MalaysiaWe were looking forward to swimming in the saltwater pool, unfortunately it’s in very bad shape with a lot of algue. Driving to the resort with your own car (we rented a Toyota) was a complete nightmare - we were lucky that it didn’t rain to heavily during our stay. The roads are extremely steep and only half way paved “because the other property owner doesn’t want to invest” (but why should he if it’s only beneficial for the resort). They provide a (paid!) shuttle in some sort of golf vehicle, but that’s definitely not convenient to sit in there for 20min for an unwanted jungle tour twice a day and definitely not fair to charge for it. They also charge 90 Pesos for ONE piece of bread if you want to complement their (delicious but) tiny breakfast… On top their pricing policy is extremely intransparent - on top of what they indicate in booking.com they charge +15% (or similar) for taxes or something like this. It’s also not possible to transfer the money via booking.com and if you want to pay there with credit card they charge another ridiculous fee… Luckily my husband is half Philippino and was able to transfer via his local bank account, but that’s surely not the case for many tourists. The resort garden is beautiful and very natural, but we heard/saw coconuts dropping several times - a real safety issue as there are palmtrees everywhere…
We stayed at Dolarog Beach Resort a few weeks ago. In general the beach is very private & beautiful - we had a great time playing in the sand and swimming in the sea with our toddler. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - apart from the waiter which tries very hard, but is completely incompetent/never got proper training…

United KingdomEverything apart from the view. Inaccessible dirt track that local taxi will not use so you are trapped in the property. overpriced in comparison to other hotels in the area. Leak in ceiling in bedroom, resulting in fall from my partner (told by owner only a little drip and not to cause problems by complaining). Broken leaking toilet hose. No hot water throughout stay. Wooden Steps going to garden broken while walking down them causing me to fall. Pool table old and not fit for purpose. Rusty unusable exercise equipment. no working wifi except for next to the bar (no signal in rooms). Swimming pool dirty (“it’s sea water”…green and dirty when the sea is clear and blue). Facility extremely tired and in need of repairs. Expensive shuttle after 5pm, so once again trapped in a property with no electricity. We checked out as soon as we could get a replacement hotel, however the owner never offered us a discount just pro rata refund for nights not staying in their terrible property. Location is not suitable for anyone who wants to explore the area and is only suitable for people who want to stay away from everything in the dark without power and happiness.
good view
