How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was all okay just the way up is the tricky part
For tipid/thrifty travelers, this is okay. But if you want comfy ones this is not it. The bed is squeaky and there's no amenities even tissue. The entrance smells so bad like literally

They only provide one small blanket with the bed. There was also no table so we had to use the monoblock chair when we ate. Shower does not have hot water. And at one morning there was no running water, I reported that to the front desk but they just said to wait til 6am.
You get what you pay for. It was cheap and at the center of establishments so that's a plus. The beds were also comfy. Overall room and bathroom were spacious.

No blanket even if u ask. As u enter the premises all cleaning materials and dirt are all visible, doormat looks like not even change. I booked for a couple room but the bed is double bunk for singles. The staff are not friendly and welcoming.

Property was closed when I got there. No security or anyone that you can ask. Care taker was sleeping. Can't be contacted.

Finding the place is not easy, no sign outside (Go through a door next to a money exchange and walk up to the 3rd floor). The dormitory is a big room with over 30 bunkbeds, these beds are not closed, everyone can see your bed, 0 privacy. This room is also not particularly clean. The bedsheets or linens are actually mattress covers. They dont have lockers for your valuables. You dont have any sockets nearby your bed, for this you have to go to the lobby to charge your belongings. Shovers and bathrooms are completely disgusting, smells like urine, no toilet paper or toilet seat. To clean yourself after using the toilet they provide you only with a bucket of water and a cup. The surrounding area and the streets are not safe (even locals told us to always grab a taxi and to not walk around. During our stay they have been painting the bunkbeds, the main room and the lobby, everything smells intensivly like fresh paint.
The personal is very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Many planes to eat or drink nearby. Great location, many places for sightseeing on foot distance (less than 25-30min). You can go to Rizal Park, museum of fine arts, Oceanpark, Intramuros, Binondo etc. Its well connected to local transport. Everything you need nearby, hospital, farmacy atms. They had a working AC and Wifi. Extending our stay was quick and easy. Bunkbed prices in the dormitory are very cheap.

There is facilities like fans , dirty toilet 🚽 bathrooms very bad the tap and mirror is at side not at front Many beds in one big room I went there and they said your booking is canceled through booking. My only concern was the curfew (and they lock the gate). Some of the contact numbers I called was unreachable and they’re signage was not visible enough.
Cheap room rates. We were late in checking in coz they have a curfew, but luckily someone answered from there contact number (I got from FB) and she called the staff in Dormitels and they still accommodated us.
