How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewIt is just in a lovely place we’re 2 different breaches meet in the corner. Surrounded by corrals and a ship wreck… you only need your snorkel to be entretienes. The island is tiny. You can cross it en les than 30 minutes. Do not expect any convenience store. It is a resort island we’re mostly adults go to relax and enjoy peace and quite We also arranged a massage. The ladies came to our place and the laundry (you need 2 days to get it done and dry. Breakfast was good and also included. The owner was really approachable and helped with any questions you may have. They also sorted our transport from Nido by VAN (2,5k pesos each way). Also the boat to the island which was free since we stayed over 2 nights
We stayed 3 days and the options of food… we nearly done them all.
Thank you so much for your kind review, we do our best with whatever is available fresh in the market

Verified reviewThis is truly a one of a kind location! The huts are on the beach surrounded by some trees and completely separate from other resorts/homes, and you can hear the sea from your bed. The huts (and beds) are very comfortable and clean, and the same goes for the bathrooms. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and will gladly help you if you need to arrange anything. Also, the cook is amazing. I will miss it to start the day with the best banana pancakes :) There are reefs on both sides of the beach, meaning that you can go snorkeling from the property whenever you want. If the weather allows you can also rent canoes. All in all, this is a small paradise far enough away from El Nido that it is very quiet and ideal for a beautiful island retreat, while still being close enough that you can do the El Nido tours from here if you want (they offer a transfer to el nido and back in a day to do one of the tours). I highly recommend! We stayed twice as long as planned :) thank you Grace and everyone else for our great stay at your place!

Verified reviewWorth the long hours of travel to go here. The property gives off an exclusive vibes with twin beach, one with the view of sunrise, and the other side for sunset. It has nice snorkeling spots too. The native nipa huts have enough circulation so they don't get too hot. Clean sheets, clean shared rest room and they always make sure you have water to wash the sand off your feet before you enter your room. Great food too with authentic italian dishes. A bit pricey since they import ingredients to the island but they allow to bring outside food & beverage. They also have wi-fi, board games, and books so you won't get bored at all. Their dog, Nika, who's a brown lab was also super sweet and charming. If you're outdoorsy and campy, this is a perfect spot for you!
Honestly, can't think of anything.

Verified reviewWe loved every minute of our stay here! The kindest hosts ever. A beautiful, peaceful place with a stunning coral reef surrounding the island. We felt at home thanks to the warm hospitality and the lovely owners. The food is delicious and served in generous portions. Everything is very clean — they constantly rake up the fallen leaves. We can’t wait to come back, we already miss it!

it is a 5-6 hour ride from the airport but the place is well worth the ride

Verified reviewDosplaya Ecocamp owned by a Golden couple, very sweet and professional! I felt at home and part of the family. I stayed there for 5 days and will definitely go back. It is 100% paradise! The food was delicious, the water is great for snorkling and kayaking. In case you visit with a partner, it is so romantic!! And I could leave part of my luggage behind for an expedition, which was sent to El Nido. Do yourself a favour and go for it, you will love it!! Photo's are real no filters. 😉
Nothing...If you like to chill, snorkling, kayaking, reading a book, a walk on the beach. You will love it!!!

Verified reviewIt's isolated, its calm, wonderful views allround, would recommend if you're up for snorkeling, not so much for swimming. Although you can sort of bathe at the shore, there's a lot of coral it stays shallow for about a radius of 200m. The accomodation is exceptionality, well maintained. The owners really care and put their heart and soul to elevate the place to guarantee a pleasant stay. The staff is friendly, welcoming and hardworking.
Not having a beach to swim, but that's just a little minor.

Verified reviewDos Playas has it all. A privileged location, owners who are passionate about this project, and a very attentive and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the cabins with a private bathroom and fan. The cabin’s design is fantastic, both aesthetically and functionally. Even though it’s still a work in progress, I can say that every detail for your comfort has been carefully thought out. There’s a rack to hang your clothes, a small shelf unit with multiple levels for your things, and bedside tables. The bed is super comfortable and comes with a mosquito net. The “door” has a large zipper that makes it easy to open and close. This is not a place for those seeking luxury. It’s a place to disconnect from the world for a few days and enjoy nature. The food they offer is quite varied. You get between 7 and 9 different meal options that change every day and with each meal. The dishes are fresh, delicious, and generous in portion! Prices are fair. They take care of the beach and make sure it’s clean. There’s internet in the common area through Starlink. They coordinated all our transfers from El Nido and responded to our messages almost instantly. Also, Nika is an amazing dog. She loves playing on the beach and keeping you company, but she’ll never invade your space. I saw some reviews complaining about mosquitoes. It’s absurd to complain about that — you’re in nature. Another review mentioned the limited variety of food for families with children. This is NOT a place to go with kids; it’s perfect for couples who want to relax. Our congratulations to Rose and William (even though we didn’t get to meet him) for the amazing work, for what they’ve built so far, and I wish them all the best as they continue to develop this wonderful project. Big hug!

Verified reviewWE LOVED THE LOCATION AND STAFF! This place had the best of all worlds. You got the sunrise and the sunset from the same location. There are a lot of hidden gems on the island and around which make this a perfect stay. Our cousin got sick one night and the owner did everything she could to take care of her so that she was comfortable. She heated water for us and gave us medicines and oils that would help relieve her pain. Truly went out of her way to help us. Food options were limited but delicious and the view made everything worthwhile. AMAZING location for snorkeling and to see starfish! ⭐

Verified reviewRose, William, Grace and the team are wonderful and welcoming. We had a look around the other camps on the island and much preferred Dos Playa, which is smaller and more friendly and much more sympathetic to the surroundings. The food is delicious and really reasonably priced. The beaches, birds, butterflies and coral reefs are unbelievably beautiful and made this an unforgettable trip. We stayed for 3 nights but I wish it could have been longer!

Amazing food (probably the best we’ve had in the philippines and the portions were soo generous for really reasonable prices) great staff and facilities. Verified reviewThe property is in an ideal spot of the island, where two beaches meet. There are beautiful snorkeling spots just outside the property. The room was neat and comfortable, we loved waking up to the sound of the native birds every morning. The staff were helpful and kind, and every single meal we had at this place was beautiful and of great value. To us, this has become one of those places we will come back to in the future, it is just magical.
We liked everything. Just be aware of mosquitoes and bugs, nothing that can’t be avoided with repellent :)
