The hostel is super clean and accommodating. The beds are comfortable and all the facilities are well maintained. There is free water, coffe and tea. Adapters are present in each beds. It is close to the airport and there are many restaurants around. It is one of the best hostel I have been in. The host is very attentive and kind. I will definitely recommend anyone to come here.

I had such a peaceful and comfortable stay at this hostel. It’s simple but has everything you need — and it’s literally walking distance from the airport, which was perfect for my late-night flight. The place is quiet and cozy, with a comfy bed, two pillows, free tea and coffee, and even a hammock upstairs where you can relax. There’s a small kitchen, free towel provided, and the overall atmosphere is really calm and restful. What made it extra special was the kind lady who runs the place. She genuinely cared and even helped me sort out my transportation for a late-night departure. I also really appreciated that she let me stay and rest in my bed after check-out time for free — such a thoughtful gesture. I had the best night’s sleep here. 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep for the first time since I started this trip. If you need a place to recover and recharge before your next destination, this is the perfect spot. Thank you again for everything!

I like the theme btw 🐥🐤🐣

The facilities were good but was very basic

    BED BUGS.

    Property response:

Hi Rachal, Thank you for your feedback. The bug you found appears to be a baby Salagubang or beetle, larger than a 2 grains of rice, and obviously not a bed bug.. Please note that we are located in a forested area of the city, so encountering local bugs occasionally is, unfortunately, part of the natural surroundings. We’d also like to clarify that the insect you found was inside a locker, after you place your backpack and your shoes inside it, not in your bed. We are not even sure if they came with you from the outside while walking toward our hostel. Our lockers are placed outside the rooms intentionally — this is one of the steps we take to prevent bed bugs from entering sleeping areas, especially since guests often travel from other hostels. To further protect our guests and maintain hygiene, we spray citronella each time we change the beddings. We have invested a lot in preventive measures, including protective covers on all our beds, to ensure a clean and comfortable stay for everyone. We are greateful for the 7.5 score that you gave us for the CLEANLINESS - a bit contrary to the bed bug claim. Lastly, we noticed that you booked with us twice — once via Hostelworld on July 25 before heading to El Nido, and again on July 29 via Booking.com. If there had been any issue with bed bugs during your first stay, we believe you wouldn’t have chosen to return. We genuinely care about guest experience and are always striving to improve. Thank you again for staying with us. Warm regards, Pia

Perfect. Location is so convenient, close to airport, and city is quite near. It's on a street that has these small kiosks that sell everything you need, even an Italian pizzeria is just around the corner. Outside it might not look the best but inside it is so comfortable and nice to stay at. Curtains, AC, fans, outlets with adapter/light... free towel, 2 comfy pillows and a nice kitchen with free tea/coffee. Owner is super nice. Provides a key if you go out, no need for deposits. Cost is 315 if booked on person. Small toy ducks everywhere :D

    Absolutely nothing to complain.

The facility is very neat and clean. The internet is superb. Very affordable.

The pathway from the gate to the facility is very slippery.

Close to airport, Good staff, frogs singing at night was a treat.

The side road going to the property was always muddy. The guy in the bunk below me snored like a bear, I could feel the vibrations from the snoring through the bed frame, almost no sleep for me, but that is not the hostels fault. A person like that should have a private room, not fair to other guests.

    Property response:

Hello Steve, Appreciate your feedback! We totally get the frustration—traveling during rainy season in a developing country like ours can come with its fair share of muddy surprises. We are definitely not first-world (yet!), where roads stay perfect rain or shine—but we’re hopeful! In the meantime, we try to make up for it with warmth, affordability, and good vibes. 😊 Just to share—we did offer you free cancellation upon arrival in case the place didn’t meet your standards, but we appreciate that you still gave us a chance. Keep smiling and stay happy :-) Warm regards, Pia Host, Duck and Drift

Pia, the one who takes care of the place and assists the guests, is very hospitable. She provides everything that I need and always initiates and do extra mile for her guests

Only the place is hard to find for first-timers, but this is only a minor issue since they are renovating the place and working on some things that can help the guests more on their convenience.
