How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

shower was too hot even at low settings . the blankets has musty smell(kulob) .
room looks really nice has utensils included for eating, rice cooker and water heater.

It was too far from everything. I didn't look at the map before I booked.
It was myself and my 2 kids. They enjoyed the bunk bed.

Location is not so good. its about 800m of the main street then to go there is pedicabs at 10pesos but when u leave you should ride an expensive taxi at minimum 600 pesos or walking the 800m to ride a trycycle Also its about 35mn of taxi from downtown (600/800 pesos from the airport they crazy overcharge) then any place you wanna go will cost minimum 1200 pesos/day round trip only for the taxi!! its super expensive for the philippines! you can also ride the trycycle but they overprice a lot. 300 pesos to go in downtown instead of 100/150 pesos their regular price for filipinos.
This is not really a hotel this is a guesthouse style. the rooms are big and very clean and confortable.. for xure you will feel good in this room. Outside the house its nice too with a clean outside kitchen and free water. The owner is a very nice person. she gives her cp number on booking.com after u book the room. And she is always available to talk to you if you have any questions. There is some little shops filipino style at walking distance but enough expensive compare to other quaters in cebu. There is some nice beach not far and you can a pleasant time there

The room was super clean, AC worked well, hot water was available 24/7, there was a fridge, kettle and enough ports to charge all your devices. and the host was so nice, she made sure the stay was comfortable. Thank you

Forced to leave this property early - Owner had ongoing noisy renovations without informing guests before booking or offering a reduced rate. The water was turned off for 48 hours due to the renovations and this is why we were forced to leave early. The owner told us that if we had a problem with the renovation noise and water being turned off, we should stay at a hotel. Drain stinks and bathroom. Overall, a terrible experience, would not recommend any westerners stay at this property

A Nightmare Come True - It's like a little prison cell at the end of a labyrinth of narrow streets in a random neighborhood with nothing nearby in walking distance, no transportation options, no view, nothing. And that's if you can even find the place. So basically, unless you have your own transportation, this is NOT the place for you. And even if you do have it, not sure why you'd stay here unless you know someone in the hospital on the main road. It is very clean though. I took a glance and got back in the van that brought me there and found somewhere else to stay.
It's tidy.

Very clean and quiet place where you really can relax.. the woman who owns the place is so kind and can help you with all the questions you have. We stayed there for 7 days and I can only recommend it to you.. It’s abit away from Tacloban but there is all you need from the local shops nearby

No inside parking for Car but we were able to park outside it was safe enough. Inside a subdivision
Pet Friendly and hot and cold shower. The place is not that expensive. They allowed us to stay with our cats as well.
