Loved!! Hostel volunteers made you feel really included and we did a great free tour of the island whilst there. Was helpful in organising rides for those who didn’t drive a scooter. Rooms were soo big and spacious and toilets and showers were cleaned regularly. Was nice to have a free breakfast, but do bear in mind it is basic. Location is super close to the beach, and can easily get a tricycle from outside if you don’t drive a scooter.

Loved this hostel - there is a reason everyone recommends it! It's super social and easy to meet great people, the hostel itself is gorgeous, and the staff is so friendly an accommodating! They make you feel right at home :) Also the coconut jam is to DIE for!

Fable is a really lovely hostel. Very relaxed vibe, staff are friendly and helpful. They arrange family dinners out every evening. The 8 bed dorm was very spacious, beds comfy, showers hot. Lovely reception l/social area with filter coffee and tea available. Free light breakfast n the morning.

They pretty much do everything right here and know exactly what you need when backpacking so all details are thought of. The hostel is located only a few minute walk from Paliton beach and with several food options in walking distance in case you don’t want to head into town. The dorm rooms are some of the nicest I ever stayed in. Rooms are huge with so much space for luggage and beds are comfortable with curtains, own light etc. shared bathrooms are also nice and big and always clean. They serve a little but nice breakfast included in the room price and there’s real coffee also. The staff is absolutely amazing and so helpful with everything. It’s a small hostel and feels really homey and very social in a non party way so it’s easy to meet people either in the common space or by joining the family dinners.

The staff at Fable is amazing! They’re so welcoming and immediately make the place feel like home. The facilities are great, the rooms are giant, and it’s one of the cleanest hostels I stayed in.

Absolutely everything and I can't wait to come back. Mareike and Micqua did an amazing job of making the place feel like a family, especially with the dinners. So clean with huge rooms, warm showers and cute dogs. Can't think of anything they could improve on.

None! I can’t think of something i can complain about

The hostel owner treated us like family. The dorms were spacious and the lounge area was a chill place to hang. Loved the daily snacks they served and the clean bathrooms and toilets. I enjoyed the family dinners daily too
