How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Aircon is not that cold enough. In our first room (RM 255) we had an issue with the aircon on our second night of atay whereas we experienced flooding in the room and our clothes got wet. But good thing, we have been transferred to a new room (RM251) CR is better. With shower door and also the room has a laptop table.
The receptionists and guards are so accomodating and super helpful to us

There was a kettle, but no coffee, teabags or sugar.
It was clean, comfortable and everything worked (we didn't try the TV). The room had a nice view. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly.

Definitely needs some update. Our bathroom doesn’t have shower door so water soaks up all the way by the door. Water isn’t hot. Shower room not draining well. Bathroom sink not draining and was fixed by taking the draining plug so it’s completely open. The shower handle keeps on falling off when using shower handle. “Used the shower handle due to when using main shower, water isn’t hot. At least with shower handle, water is a bit warmer. But then again, water pressure from it was very low. Towels are a bit old and very thin.
Close to Robinsons and it’s very convenient. Free parking.

No cokes in the restaurant, and I was there several days , didn't even try to get any., no refrigerator, no ice.
Breakfast was good, location by the mall, Michelle and the security staff were exceptionally helpful.

I wish there were more shelves in the room to put my things on.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, air conditioning was effective. Staff was very efficient, professional, and responsive. I would definitely recommend it if you need a place to stay in Dumaguete.

The room size and the type of beds available is only Queen or Twin so it’s really not so family-friendly especially if you have 2 kids. The rooms are small for an extra bed. It’s still good for an overnight stay tho.

Our room had a leak in the bathroom and the aircon was not so strong, so there were times it was a little warm.
Hotel and room was relatively clean and well-maintained. Staff was attentive and helpful.

The room is older compared to the room that we have previously checked-in.
Room was a little older than what we have previously booked. No table or chair was provided, we had to request it from the staff.

A little noisy at times, noise from other guests mainly at night but you cannot blame the hotel for this . There was construction work going on next to the hotel but this was not a problem. Windows in room could do with a clean.
Good quality accommodation convenient for Robinson's mall and access to the city. Spacious bedroom and we were given the choice of a twin room or double room. Staff friendly and welcoming.Room serviced daily. WiFi access good.

AC was broken, it doesn't get cold even when set to the lowest temp.
Location was good, just behind Robinsons, and near the jeepney and Ceres terminal. Room and bathroom were clean and with lots of clothes hanger, perfect for those who goes swimming in Valencia and Apo Island. Luggage is also secured, if you arrive early but no early check in is available.
