The smell if your bed is near the toilet. Slow water pressure in the shower. The internet used to be good but is a bit slow now.

The staff. The location. The open-air configuration. The lounges. Multiple bathrooms and showers. Very good location if you want to be near the party places. They have generator.

The showers get a little dirty, just from the influx of people. It can be quite noisy as the dorms are open plan, but if it is still fine to sleep

For the dorm beds, there are no walls so your beds are exposed to the elements-- I didn't like this because of mosquitos, but I didn't actually have much issues (there is a fan for each bed and I got a few bites but I also can't say for sure). You are also exposed to the noise from the common area depending on how close your bed is. This wasn't an issue for me personally, but I'm flagging it as light sleepers might have trouble. The third floor is under construction so there was no access to the roof top and during the day it was noisy at times.

I didn’t like that the beds didn’t have curtains but they had something that covered a bit of your upper body. It’s fine if you’re just there to sleep but if you want some privacy this is probably not for you.

what it doesn’t tell you online is that this is an open concept hostel. The main ‘dorms’ are not rooms and beds are in corridors with little space or privacy. I ended up paying extra to upgrade to an actual dorm even though they had put me in an area that I had not booked, only to be woken up at 5am by a different receptionist telling me that it wasn’t my bed. This wouldn’t have been a problem had I have known before booking.

The private rooms don’t get any soup or toilet papers. But there are soup to use in the common room to clean your hands.

The people at the reception are super nice! Especially the lady which I think is the owner. Everyone was super helpful. We booked a private room and it was big with a private shower and toilet. The hostel was also close to the street with a lot of good restaurants. The hostel is also very clean, didn’t see a cockroach during the entire stay!! (I hate cockroaches). Thank you:)
