Regarding the barefoot policy, we understand that it may have been slightly uncomfortable, particularly in the bathroom. For future reference, guests are welcome to use their own disposable slippers, and we also provide slippers specifically for bathroom use. This discount applies to food items only and does not cover drinks. We’re sorry for any confusion this may have caused, and we’ll work on making this more clear in the future to avoid any misunderstanding. Regarding your suggestion about having a cooking space, we genuinely appreciate your input. Unfortunately, due to the limited space in our hostel, we’re unable to provide this feature at the moment. Hi Giacomo, thank you so much for the kind words about our hostel and staff, we're so happy you were able to enjoy the space. We're deeply apologetic about the miscommunications regarding the tour and van. After our internal investigation on this matter we saw that you booked the tour through our travel and tours office, and they have records showing they informed the operator to pick up at the hostel, but it seems they neglected to acknowledge that, we're very sorry for the inconvenience but glad you were able to enjoy a tour through the beautiful islands of El Nido. As for the van, it seems there was a communication breakdown between the van driver and the dispatcher and are already taking steps to fix these protocols and ensure this doesn't happen to any future traveler.
