Too many cats around the property

I stayed at the dorm which has single beds, quite different from hostels dorms but I loved it. Location is out of the bustling city center, you need to walk around 10 min to the main places for diving, activities or restaurants but it worth it because this makes the hostel to be less noisy. I met nice people staying there. Staff is so nice and helpful with activities around and transportation. You have some cutie kittens around and that’s lovely. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. AC is kept whole day in 24 degrees and makes the space to be super easy to handle with the heat and humidity you have outside.

Maybe cleaning more frequently the toilet which is shared by 9 people would be a great thing. There is an available kitchen but if you use the stoves, they charge 100 pesos. No sense for me…

The staff at reception were very helpful.

The room had holes in the wall and no proper closed off window in the bathroom meaning that mosquitoes filled the room at night. Despite being off a side street the neighbourhood was somewhat loud with karaoke machines blasting at night! This hostel was also difficult to find with many tricycle drivers not knowing where it was!

We had a double room, and for the price, it was exceptionally worthwhile. The service was wonderfully helpful, the room (and washroom) were clean, and the price was excellent; what more could one desire? It is definitely a recommended place to stay.

Clean and cozy room. Comfortable bed. The shower had good pressure. Shared kitchen available to prepare your own food. Water refill station. Kind and welcoming staff.

Air con extremely loud. We ended up sleeping with the AC off because of the noise and the room got pretty warm, leading to poor sleep quality. Walls are not well insulated so you can hear all the noises from outside and the people talking in the adjacent room.

Great hostel in Coron, located just outside the centre in a quieter area. The private rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and help with any questions. There is a little area outside rooms to dry items ect. We experienced one power cut but it was fixed with an hour so no issues. There is air conditioning and a fan. Great value for money. There’s also a kitchen space to store and make food.

Room was clean WiFi was good

The transit from the airport was a disaster. It took almost three hours from the time we met the driver until we arrived at the hotel. The driver said he was just waiting for another plane and that it would only take 20 minutes. In reality, we ended up waiting for two hours, and since we were dropped off last, the entire transfer ended up taking three hours. It’s absolutely ridiculous to make guests wait that long without clear communication. We wouldn’t have minded waiting up to an hour, but three hours is unacceptable. When we checked in, we explained the situation to the lady at the desk. She gave us 100 pesos off the transfer cost, but honestly, they shouldn’t have charged us at all. Mistakes can happen, but the staff didn’t do anything to truly make up for it. They should have informed us properly about the delay so we could have arranged a different transfer ourselves. The air conditioning was so loud that it was impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. We are used to ACs being noisy, but this felt like trying to sleep under a machine. Since it’s so hot, sleeping without the AC wasn’t an option either. Because of this, we decided to leave after the first night. Again we told the staff bud they didn’t seem to want to make anything right

The reception was very helpful for the tour reservations and suggestions for restaurant and the activities. Also there were cute cats around the structure... But as in many places in Philippines the air conditioning was really loud and difficult to sleep with its noise...
