You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaWe had to leave after a night because the place was unleavable. It was disgustingly dirty. Everywhere was dirty and dusty. Toilet in the master's wasn't flushing, the whole bathroom was disgusting. The kitchen was also durty. Oven had cobwebs. Kitchenwares were smelly. This property should not be sold.

BahrainThe host/owner, from the outset when I booked was extremely reserved to share his contact details and made it hard for me to communicate. The general hygiene of the three bedroom house was not good, not to my standards for sure as an English man. Cooking utensils supplied were ok but could be upgraded for sure. Should be more and better storage in the kitchen. The lower cupboards were old and quite dirty. Washing machine, a twin tub, very dated and old fashioned, rather than a modern front loader. Under the stairs a very small room with a single bed, this room had old and dirty linen in there and the smell not good. NO air conditioning downstairs, where there is an open plan living room and kitchen. Just two fans to try and keep the room cool, not sufficient and very hot. In the kitchen, no hot water supply to wash up pots, pans and dishes. How can you expect to clean in cold water? The swimming pool on the compound cannot always be used. On many days the swimming pool/club facility was out of bounds and we could not use because others had hired the facility which stops you from using it. This was not pointed out and informed to us. Maybe this property would be ok for some but for the majority of western people it would not be suitable at all. It seems the hosts/owners want to make a quick buck or two from those who will just want to stay there one time and not thinking that they want guests like me to return, which is unfortunate. If it was me, my conscience would tell me to rent my property in the best way possible, value for money, modern and most importantly clean and hygienic. I had already paid the full amount of just over $600 but decided to move to another location four days before checkout day, I could not take any more, again is sad but the reality. Gary Teeley
