    - Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. - Lio Beach is right outside the hotel. - Many restaurants and bars near the hotel. - It's quiet and peaceful. - Nice and helpful stuff. - Close to the airport, plus free airport transfers.

    - Hotel is very nice overall, but in my opinion rooms need a bit of renovation. There was mold, the shower had low water pressure. - Poor communication before arrival - hotel rarely responds to emails, messages or calls, which for me was stressful, since our ferry from Coron to El Nido was cancelled and I couldn't get in touch with the hotel. - Breakfast could be improved, not much choices for people used to Western style breakfast. - Staff is very friendly but service has flaws - empty soap dispenser, missing towels, and getting a call few minutes after checking in, asking what time I want my airport transfer when I'll be leaving (which was in 3 days). I don't think many guests want to think about leaving right after they arrived. - Far from El Nido town (300 PHP tricycle ride). I think the hotel could think about organizing free transfers, which would be very helpful for the guests. Overall, unless you want to stay in the hotel/beach most of the time, I’d probably recommend getting a hotel closer to the town. For me, the price is a bit too high for the standard of the hotel and it's mostly worth it for Lio Beach.

The staff provided world-class customer service from beginning to end! Kudos to Huni Lio’s management and staff for having their daily operations run like a well-oiled machine. Every staff member consistently made you feel truly special and valued. They are professionals who went above and beyond in making sure you have a wonderful vacation while staying at their property. The entire property is beautiful, clean, modern, and crisp. The restaurant has a great menu and on occasion even accommodated quite a few dish requests that are not on their menu, at no extra charge! They just based the prices on the most comparable items in their menu.

BOOKING.com FAILED US. Booking.com did not provide us the correct information about the accommodations. We were a group of 7 individuals (2 couples + 3 solos). Booking.com insisted us we NEEDED to book 3 rooms, as follows: 1 Queen room = 1 queen bed + 1 twin bed plus 2 Family Rooms. Each Family Room = 1 queen bed + 2 twin beds. I questioned Booking.com about their 3 bedrooms recommendation 3 times on 3 separate phone calls because looking at the configurations, it meant we only needed 1 Queen Room and 1 Family Room to accommodate our party of 7. Booking.com told us the twin beds were only for little kids which is why we had to book according to their recommendation. Upon reaching the resort we learned that the twin beds were regular sized and can be used by adults! Each of the 3 rooms we were told by Booking.com we NEEDED TO BOOK had the following EXTRA 4 BEDS: 1-2-1!!! Upon check-in we were told we didn’t need the 2nd Family Room but it was too late for us to cancel. Booking.com SCAMMED US into getting a 3rd room that we didn’t not need!!!

Breakfast, rooms big, comfortable, lovely refreshing view, amazing staff. We had a wonderful 4 nights here as a family. Always felt great coming here after a tour. Kids loved the pool! Free hotel transfer

Being on second floor without much of a view. Wish we had paid the the extra for view of beach or pool.

The hotel is located on a beautiful serene beach away from the hustle and bustle of the town of El Nido and the surrounding village offers several good restaurants. It's just 5 minutes drive to the airport and 15 minutes drive to town. There can be good surfing right off the hotel beach at a couple of close surf breaks. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I would definitely consider staying here again.

I would highly recommend Huni Lio to my relatives and friends if they plan to go to El Nido. The location is near Lio Airport (El Nido Airport) and they have complementary airport pick-up and drop-off. There are other restaurants / establishments nearby, but far enough for you not to hear the noise when you're inside your room. The room is cozy and spacious. Bath essentials, like toiletries and towels, are available upon request. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall, my relatives and I enjoyed our stay!

Breakfast choices are limited and repetitive, like the juices. The food would be too salty or too bland on different days. During our stay, there was an on-going painting maintenance at the pool area so we couldn't really swim because of the paint smell.

Excellent location on a well-groomed beach, no beach hawkers, good variety of restaurants nearby, extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Pool water was a bit strong on the eyes, breakfast buffet could be refilled a bit quicker
