Clean room and very accommodating staff

The family room bunk beds, not ideal if you’ve got elderly parents. Beds for these rooms are quite hard to get in and out of.

Location is perfect, it had a spa literally next door and a supermarket for essentials which is like a minute away. Staff are really attentive and super kind.

The hotel is a bit older, so the walls are quite thin and you can hear people in other rooms and in the hallways. Of course, the staff and other guests were respectful so it wasn’t much of a problem for us, but just something to note for light sleepers. The rooms are very clean but the hotel didn’t offer some place to rinse off the dirt and sand from water activities, and we found a couple of tiny lizards sneaking around the room.

We booked a double room with J Boutiques. The location was at the edge of central El Nido town, a convenient 5-10 minute walk to the beach, next to stores and restaurants, but very quiet and away from the noise. The staff were extremely accommodating and kind; they offered to arrange us airport transport, let us check in as early as 7am, and arranged tours and motorbike rentals for us. The rooms are a bit smaller than other accommodations in the area, but very very well maintained and clean, which was our top priority. No windows in the bedroom but the bathroom is well ventilated and dries very fast. They offer daily room cleaning, unlimited drinking water and toiletries, and stable wifi. There was a short power outage but they had a backup generator to tide us over. There’s a large screen TV, comfortable bed, mini fridge, and safe for your valuables. Overall we extremely enjoyed our stay here, and would highly recommend J Boutiques to anyone.

A little bit further from the bustling crowd of el nido but its quite at night.

It has hot shower and had a ample of space for six people. Jillian the front desk is very accommodating as well as their other staff. Rooms are very clean.

We had a fantastic stay here — one of our favorites during our time in the Philippines. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that kept everything spotless. The location was perfect: close to everything we needed but still quiet enough to relax. The staff were also a highlight — always warm, helpful, and ready to assist with anything, from giving local tips to organising tours at great prices. It made our stay smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend!

It had a great stay ! It’s super calm, comfy, convenient, good WiFi, not too far by walking from the center, I slept really well, and the staff is amazing 🥰 super friendly, helpful, welcoming ! Special thanks to Connie who is an amazing person member of the staff who help me a lot during my stay (recommend great place to hang out, great restaurant and hopping island tours) ! + was amazingly nice ! Nothing. I have seen some reviews regarding the size of the rooms but for me, the size of the room I stayed at was decent. Especially for a boutique hotel.

Walking distance to El Nido town. The staff were lovely too. Ate Joy at reception was very welcoming and pleasant. We were offered a lift to the airport upon our departure - our driver was Kuya Tan who was also nice and outgoing. I highly recommend this hotel.

They were incredibly kind people and helped us at all times. We asked them about different activities and they assisted us. One of our friends got sick, and they helped us with the doctors and everything. We felt really comfortable. If we go back to El Nido, we’ll definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel doesn’t have common areas where you can spend your time. The room hadn’t got window but we knew it before we booked it.

Since we arrived we felt very welcome. Special thanks to Joy, who helped us and adviced us very well the whole time. She is a very nice person. Also Hurry was very friendly with us all the time. Thanks to all the staff!! You are doing a great job. The hotel is perfectly located and the room was good and very clean.

I loved everything about this place! There’s a great local food stall just across the street—perfect for quick and tasty meals. The rooftop terrace was a nice surprise and a great spot to relax. The room had everything I needed, well-equipped and clean. The location is unbeatable—only a 5-minute walk to the beach and less than a minute to the supermarket. Super convenient for everything! Would definitely stay here again.

Our specific room did not have a window so didn’t have natural light or ventilation. There was a small window in toilet which backed onto a building so again no light or fresh air. It was not a problem for us, just could notice it would get stuffy sometimes if air con was off while we were out.

We enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were always greeted with smiles each day. Room was very clean, and beds were comfy too! We liked having the water refill by our room, and the tea/coffee amenities. Would definitely recommend this lovely boutique, only a few minutes walk to the bustling area of El Nido (lots of restaurants, bars, and shops)

J Boutique Hotel was a fantastic choice for my stay! The location is super convenient—there’s a supermarket just a minute away, and it only takes about five minutes to walk to the beach. I also tried the massage place right next to the hotel, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had. The staff were very friendly and helped arrange an island-hopping tour for me, which turned out to be amazing. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and really enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay in a convenient spot, I highly recommend this hotel!

We rented the family room and everything was great, however the loft bed is a little bit warm despite the airconditioning in the room. It could be because the weather is really hot at the moment. Otherwise everything was great

Had the best stay here. Hotel is spotless, rooms are spacious with really comfortable beds. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were provided with new shower and beach towels daily. The staff (Lyn, Joy, other receptionist can’t remember her name sorry and security guard) were extremely helpful and friendly with booking tours and arranging transport and they were always happy to help. This is a fabulous hotel and would definitely come back here the next time I visit El Nido!
