Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It’s near the port but quite far from San Juan which is our fault because we didn’t double-check ahead of time. But given the price it’s worth it.
It was affordable and the hosts were very accommodating. They also have solar power so you won’t feel that there’s power interruption. WiFi is also reliable and there’s free water.

Toilet could be better. No hang points for towel and toiletries. Should be a matt inside.
We had a big room booked that was meant for 8 people but only had 2 of us. The price was great and booked on the day. Location is quite good as its within 15 mins from the port via motorcycle. The owner was very nice and accommodating.

I really like how this place is close to San Juan. Since it was my first time in Siquijor I really didnt know where to to stay but this is really an answered prayer as it was just a perfect location for my 4 day stay. The host is also exceptional. I was able to rent their car for days with a reasonable price, there are times I had even requested my food to be prepared since I had no time going out. It was a hassle free experience staying here!

Fan room was really stuffy - because we used the fans to cool us down we did catch a flu so would recommend the aircon rooms Fan room is right next to kitchen and lounge People were cooking from 5:30/6am everyday we stayed - we would suggest not allowing cooking so early No food or restaurants nearby so rent a bike or get a tuk tuk - breakfast is available at a fee

Budget room a/c struggled to cool the room during the day and the bathroom had quite a few ants in it.
Staff were very nice and welcoming and were happy to hold our luggage after checkout as we had a late ferry to catch. Budget room was basic but certainly can't complain with the price.

Haha we ended up having a room without AC, that was terrible. We were unlucky to get the room with AC, otherwise our stay would be way better. But due to holy week, there weren’t any options left.
The staff is very friendly and interested in you. That is nice! and it’s very close to the port yo catch the ferry.

Close enough to the ferry but also secluded and off the main road so quite peaceful. Bed was very nice, bathroom was adequate and A/C worked fine. Check-in and check-out was extremely simple and quick, friendly staff running the show.
