    Staff are always smiling.

The location is fair though infront of it was a gasoline station. The rooms are fine not great. It’s a bit old and it’s updating. The walls are pealing. The food for breakfast is ala carte only ; when they have a big group only then they have a buffet. The staff in the food area needs more training to be attentive. They seems to be in experienced so the sense of urgency needs improvement. For the value for the place I think I overpaid I did got a presidential suite when I requested for a bucket of ice they charge me of P 20.00 though it’s just minimal amount however it was shocking in my part as it’s my first time to get charge for something that I can get for green in other hotels. We ate at the bar and my niece saw a big rat walking on top of the decoration linens. In shock but the staff seems aware and just ignore about it. If there is a rat the chances of infection on the good is very high.

Every day, the staff welcomes us with warm smiles and cheerful greetings that vary by the day. I also love the location—it's conveniently close to our family's house in the neighboring town.

The complimentary breakfast only offers four options: tapa, tocino, bangus, and longganisa. After four days, the limited choices became a bit repetitive. There are additional options available, but they come at an extra cost. The fruit plate is an additional cost, but it is the same every day, consisting of apple, banana, and mango. The bathtub in our room made it challenging to use the shower. I'm a tall person and always practice extra caution for risk of slipping. I can't imagine how difficult it would be for a shorter person. I highly recommend updating the room with more modern furniture, bedding, lighting, and newer towels. Also, the Wi-Fi signal in the room is weak; I had to sit near the front desk everyday to get a better connection. The sliding door lacks a screen, so opening it to get fresh air invites bugs and mosquitoes. Additionally, the door is not properly flushed to the tracks, which causes it to rattle during earthquakes, like the one we experienced on December 4. This made me feel nervous and scared, as I haven't experienced an earthquake in years.

The breakfast was tasty and it was quick Quick check in process

At this current moment in time the place is undergoing construction work. This was not advertised during the booking process. We got to the room and it had a damp smell and little to no lighting making it dark. Went to open the curtains to let more light in but had a room where all natural light was blocked by a roof. Some added lighting in the room would be beneficial maybe around the mirrors just as getting ready was difficult. The bathroom had a dark feel to it due to the bulbs not producing a lot of light. A sign in the room saying that construction is from 08:00 till 17:00 but we was woken up at 07:00 by loud banging etc from the construction workers. I asked the front reception desk about this and it was met with shoulder shrugs and head nods. I was fine with it starting at 08:00 but 07:00 was too early and inconvenient for our stay. The room has a TV service that you need to pay for which I found strange especially in a hotel that claims 3 stars. The room had little plug sockets so this made it hard to charge phones/ devices. Pool was small and with them building more rooms this definitely won’t be big enough and the pool area does require more seating. Bed was uncomfortable and hard but the pillow were comfy.

    Typical Filipino breakfast, nothing exciting.

With all the rooms that are empty, they put us with a view of construction! There only for the night and upgrade or whatever to not see that and hear construction noise.

They are very responsive in communicating. The staff were genuinely nice.

It doesn’t look like the pictures. The room is old and truly dated and way overdue for a renovation. A fresh coat of paint can go a long way. The AC is old and was quite loud so we had to turn it off.

    Location close to Bacarra

Poor bathroom lighting. My sister felt something (a spirit) in the room. The beef tapa that people are raving about was not what I expected as tapa.
